Hmm I see your point. No umbrage is taken. Unfortunately, I cannot put anymore time into this, as I have other interests as well, but here are the source code files if someone else wants to.

Your observation is very interesting. I also had similar question about BasketBars as highlighted above.

If you refer to the BuySellBasket indicator in the picture you posted, You can see clearly that trend had changed by then and loss is visible. This indicator is very useful (15min and above) in Basket Trades and use it often.
WE need to have perfect entry for short term trades. Better to focus on long term when opening multiple positions.

This is still a strange system for me too, like "am I lucky today or not". Now reading your image, look at the "Price balance indicator" and you'll see that the price is far below what it was when you entered, thus it's kind of logical to see losses instead of profits. Basketbars seems to indicate moves, but not in a linear way. You should have exited once the basket price moved down (so 3/4 basket bars after you entered).

If it's a basket u want to open (i.e. 14 orders at one go), then creating 14 pending orders with each pair having its own stop_level will not serve the purpose, bcos they will all be triggered at different points of time...

One way you can do this is decide which curency's price you want to use as your trigger (e.g. EURJPY) and have an EA watch for your specified price to arrive on that pair. upon that condition being satisfied, the EA would shoot out the whole basket at market prices.

Hello all

Thank you for an incredible thread. I am having a difficult time getting the BuySellBasketTotal indicator to appear on my charts. I have not had the same problem with any other indicator.

Any suggestions.

Hi all,

Why would there be a frowning face? I tried reinstalling, deleted all cache and ex4, compiled with no errors. Depressed EA button. The indicator displays all normally. However, now my scripts are not executing. Yesterday, all worked well. I messaged Broco customer service, and they are stumped. On their advice, I deleted my trading platform, and reinstalled it: that didn't help. Now I attached the included Moving Average EA that comes with MT4 platform. But it also gives the frowning face.

Not sure about this, but I'd better validate it:

BuySellBasketTotal_v3.mq4 published on Oct 24 in this thread seems having some bugs.

as my understanding, the indicator draw a few lines. one of them is "USD" pair's profit, and another one is "JPY" pair's profit.

now two bugs that I am guessing (not sure) are:

1. usdchf's profit is directly added to xxxusd's profit, which seems wrong to me. it should be like " xxxusd profit - usdchf profit ", if it is to calculate USD strength.

2. so for usdjpy, usd's strength was again calculated wrong, should use '-' instead of '+'. but then, the code skip the 'jpy' profit counting, becoz usdjpy goes to 'usd' pairs, but not 'jpy' pairs. therefore, this error is doublefolded.

i cannot compile the indicator now.

if i'm right, i'll post a corrected version tonight.

however, this indicator doesn't affect T101 trading too much.

One of these mbasket indicator is for mini account, the other for standard.

HI ForexFlash,

Please see the picture below of your indicator. It it obvious that there is no trend but for EURUSD it shows trend strength +67. My setting were 1,5,15M
This value was oscilating between -50 +67

As afar as I know CCFP calculates pieces of currency strength based on
emas for all TF, in your case it is perhaps on selected TFs. Than in your case we are coming to pairs again and trend strength based on those values in range -100 +100. Can you tell me what is a logic behind to calculate those strength ?? Does it consider an angle for example or it is simple oscillator behind this ? Anyway in that form does not show any strenght but only confusing.
