Also Fridays seem to be slower in general. I shoot for smaller trades/profits on Fridays instead of big runs. Probably common knowledge.

I would like to here Brv's take on market manipulation. But i don't think its a major factor. For one reason the big institutions don't exactly like each other. So if one institution marking price down unnaturally some else really big will stick it to them really hard at those low levels.

How are you? I sorry I didn't notice your reply to my request. Thank you so much for the input. I am working on the risk reward aspect....my entry points I need to work on and work on the mind......not to feel like a eternal looser........
I owe a lot to BRV method and for his teaching which has given me hope........

Kidding. I bet you need to work on risk/reward ratio. As a newbie you see the trade go into the negative and you get nervous and close the order. Or you see it go slightly positive and do the same. If the math doesnt' work out on the risk/reward you won't make money in the long run.

Yeah exactly.....3rd attempt at the line, if everything looks good I'll go for it. Anymore than 3 and it gets hairy.

By the way for whoever is listening someone left a nasty comment on the blog that I didnt go short here other wise I would have posted it ahead of time calling me a liar. These are just trade examples, not before after stuff I'm posting. I hardly post any where near all of my trades. I rejected the comment (first one ever) but just to clear that up.

Another 1 in a million type of person but just in case anyone else was wondering. Probably that guy from 2 weeks ago. .

You know I'm interested to see whats going to happen with this one. I'm not sure sure this time around the 'meeting of the minds' here is going to have much of a massive immediate impact unless some solid resultions, or decisions are made. For the sake of my trading I'm actually hoping that it does; usually some good opportunities come out of these types of events.

Hi Barak.....I was talking about this pattern here.....hope this clears up....basically if you dont see a fade off of this level your buy stops are likely to get triggered if its pushed far enough, which seemed to be the case here.

Its absurd that someone would complain about the work Brv has put into this project of his. People don't even realize that he is basically cutting years off peoples learning curve. You can't expect to read a blog or forum and just be an excellent trader. It takes at least a year of hard work if you are trading non-systematic and most likely much longer. Obviously this nut is not taking responsibility for his actions and is probably a constant loser. You should change your blog so someone anonymous can't leave a message. And w.t.f. do they expect you to run a charity here and tell every entry you take so they can ride on your coattails. The point of all this is to teach the man to fish so he can eat forever and not give him a fish so he can eat once. Or some thing like that I'm sure every one knows the quote.

I think that yen trade of mine is a good example of live trade management if one wants to take the time to study it. It indicates that since we are trading currencies and for example not orange juice or lean hogs. We must consider what the other major pairs are doing in relation to our s&r level. And with that info ratchet down risk and adjust or stops to reflect common sense. However, there is a dilemma you can't always wait for everything to line up or you may get nothing accomplished. Surely, there must be a happy medium.

Congrats GW. Before you go, quick question - do you often move to B/E on your trades once in profit? I was late to the yen party, and as has happened probably about 20 times this week, moved to b/e only to have it hit and then reverse a few pips later.

Well I have looked for the nasty post in order to not inadvertedly chat to whoever, but I cant find it. I think I read so much I dont see half. Anyway, I would have to say my learning has improved 200 percent thanks to BRV, and I have only been here a short time. I find that people who are unable to learn, whether through ignorance, aptitude, or laziness, have no way out but to blame the teacher, otherwise they would have to blame themselves and they do not wish to take responsibility. I am calling it quits tonight because none of my planned trades are ready, and I am taking responsibility and not trading unless my criteria are met. good luck all.

I'll be sticking around I don't really have a life outside of the markets on weekdays. I'll be just studying and sitting on my hands so I don't damage a good day. I'm not such a fan of the b.e. mentality unless your deep in the green minimum 50 pips. Honestly, I never new for sure if that yen trade would work all along. And then it just poped and moved in like three minutes from 96.38 to 97.02 my target. I would say the only place it was safe to move to break even was right about now or when it hit 96.76 or 97.02

This is one of the only bigger trades on my radar. I don't like Canadian though. And honestly I think the long trade will fail there so I would be more inclined to short that failure. However, it may be able to be played both ways if your fast
