I have been demoing this system, but I dont get good results, maybe I am doing something wrong, what I have seen is that the system is pretty accurate.

I will be placing my next entry signals, so maybe you can help me to understand if there is a godd or bad signal.

Btw, I have a AE for signal advice, but I think is not working OK. Do you guys use some one?

Humm...don't get wrong.
The Alert that is attached in this forum is just for alerts you when there is a possible position.
Then what you have to do next is check all the other conditions (or by your own criteria...I mean by your modification / interpretation).

I preferrable not to use the robot (for this EA that has been made by some one on this forum, but not by the REAL OWNER), it is too slow and not too profitable.
Just use the system, analize it and apply it...and you'll be profitable. Until now, I am getting amazed with this EA...for 4 years I am experienced in Forex business, I never meet a system / an EA that gives me a great result like this...it gives you a high probabiliy trading system. And if you creative enough, you will get a lot high probability trading with promized profit with this EA...just like what I do until now.

I will test it more and more...and I will be glad to help you with your screenshot of your signal...

Based on the Wicker's rules, then :
- the first signal is a valid buy signal
- the second signal is a not valid signal

owww...sorrry...so you mean that arrow. You can get that 'alert' in the previous pages....just find it, you will found it. It named as "RedAlertTrendFollower.ex4" or "RedAlertTrendFollower.mq4"
Or just download from me, then move it to your Meta Trader 4 experts directory (not the 'indicators' folder!!!) :

first of all thanks for multi time frame system.it was really good. but there is a problem about market hours. when new york is close ( and there are 8 hours to open,it shows new york is open),how can i adjust it?

E' bello vedere che ogni tanto si trova qualche italiano su forexfactory... Il file che ti interessava con i segnali si trova a pagina 53 di questo thread.
Se sei interessata a questo sistema, è già da un po' di tempo che lo seguo e lo testo... quindi se vuoi scambiare qualche idea o hai bisogno di aiuto sono a disposizione. Ciao!

How many % of your account balance do you use on a single trade?
Personally I have a 5000€ account and I use 10% of my total balance in a single trade.

Ciao Retal1ator. E bello vedere anche la lingua Italiana qui. Ok, I can tell you how I use MM. I enter a single trade with MM that depends on my stop loss. If is it is more than 25-30 pips I put less money in trade. My stop loss is never more than 1-2% of my account. On that way, sometimes I do not pass the trade that seems to be worth one, even if it require bigger stop loss.

Those RED arrows are not meant to be pointing to an entry, well 1 of them is.
I posted that because a person tweaking his new EA wanted to know if his entry signal times are the same as other peoples.
However the valid LONG signal entry on that chart is at the 15:30 mark and not 16:40.
Starting to see instead of just looking.

Sorry, I did not see your question.

I just used the Values that are standard in the WIcker 5 min system.
The EA only alerts you when a possible new trade is approaching and then when all signals are aligned for a LONG or SHORT trade.
I trade USD/JPY CHF/JPY EUR/JPY I did trade the GBP/JPY but had problems with it in the long run and Pilatus mentioned that it is not recomended pair on the system.
Starting to see instead of just looking.

yup, just use 10% of your total balance in a single trade...never risk more than 10%.

Grazie dalla risposta, mi sono espressa male intendevo le frecce nere in alto a sx, ho guardato la pagina 53 ma non ho trovato il file, riesci a controllare meglio ? è solo un dettaglio non è importante.

"Cerco" di fare trading con canali e cicli e sono incuriosita da questo sistema, ma non ho ancora contestualizzato come viene applicato, mi spiego meglio, quante operazioni fa in un giorno, quante long quante short, quanti stop, medi intendo ( a grandi linee) questo per capire il tempo che devo dedicarci per vedere qualche risultato.

Ho quasi la sensazone che riferito ad esempio a euro /usd faccia talvolta una qualche operazione, un pò sporadicamente e per vedere qualcosa debba tener controllato 2/3 cross. in modo meccanico, mi sbarlio forse ?

Ciao Annarita. Penso di poterti dare io la risposta che cercavi. Quello a cui ti riferisci non è un indicatore bensì parte dell'EA progettato da pmurfin verso l'inizio del thread. Per visualizzarlo devi chiudere Metatrader, copiare il file che allego nella cartella Experts, riaprire Metatrader, nel Navigator andare nella cartella Expert Advisors, cliccare su SignalTrendFollower + Snapshot e trascinarlo nel grafico che stai osservando. Ricordati di abilitare Allow Live Trading nella scheda Common. Questo EA non eseguirà trades automaticamente ma ti darà un alert quando tutti gli indicatori saranno allineati secondo le regole di TheWicker. A proposito un grosso "grazie" in italiano all'autore e a chi ha contribuito validamente (Big "thank you" in Italian to TheWicker and all the valid contributors).
