This question for fx scalpers , how many trades u take daily ? 20 , 100 ... ? And which broker you use ?

nice, sweet, no problem at all..

I am getting some slippage now, but the market are WILD, so to is understandible that we are having some wide spread, or sleepage.
I am using only fix spread brokers as CMSFX, and GFT, and my ECN account are now aside (resting, as the liqidity sometimes are low and the ECN spread can go Up to 60pips )

with CMS sometimes i get some slippage, but nothing scary.
with GFT some requoting and only on entries, but they HONOUR all EXITS, which is THE most important.

Noone asked me or complain that I have 30-50 trades durring the day, or complain regards my style..

BTW. the last month or two, almost every movement on 5min chart is 20-100pips on YEN pairs..

You r not directed to dealing desk confirmation ?

both cmsfx, and gft are with DD confirmation.. but you see, on cmsfx I have 2pips on EU, UY, and 10pips on GBPAUD.. and specialy when the market is so wild, the best ones are with FIXED spread..

with GFT as low as 1pip, but not more then 3pips on UY, EU [haven't seen YET 1pip spread ]

P.S. you can see my system.. my exits are from 2 ro 200 pips.. I look @ my chart.. and indicators

What u think is the optimal stoploss for scalping the euro , how many pips ?

There is no optimal stoploss, as there is no perfect system that works all the time. The optimal stoploss will change, based on market sentiment. My stoploss is usually under/above the setup bar or consolidation formation, based on timeframe I'm trading, and should be figured in on higher time frames as well. Sometimes I prefer to take a manual stoploss based on where the candle actually closes... above/below Pivot zones or my favorite emas 10,21,60,200. I love setups where the stoploss is 10 or less, but that realistically doesn't always work. My SL varies all the time as I don't trade a hard wired system like some. Sometimes it pays to set your stoploss outside the M15 trading range, even if you're scalping M5 or M1. I evaluate the odds at all times. Is the trade high probability, or iffy?

U r right , but for scalping and trading with the momentum what is the possible tightest stop for Cable ?

On my platform, The tightest possible stop for GU will be 1 pip... Sir...

no i mean what is the logical tightest stop if u want to scalp the cable , i tried 8 pips but didnt work , 5 pips i am break even ... should work more on the entries but i want to know about tight stops for extreme scalping ...

Wow, I just looked... 127 trades today!!

I was going to ask the same question from a different angle.

I would be curious to know how many trades the "best" traders execute in a day/week/month vs. how many the other 95% of traders are executing.

Hi,

Price levels on futures,

breaks and reversals on cash.

When its quiet, more trades for less pips, when its busy less trades for more pips.

...by not having to go through the average broker.

If you knew that there are platforms that let you put on instant orders with 1 pip take-profit in one click on futures than you wouldn't ask that question.

On FX cash you can do it with a little more risk if you have a fast finger as well.

When people say it can't be done, it only means they can't do it. It's like any other style of trading...a decent broker, a platform you're comfortable with, and practice practice practice.

I read somewhere that the original definition of scalping is capturing a negative spread oportunity, could someone explain to me where this scenario exists? Tier one?
