How many trades do you make daily? (for scalpers)

im scalper (short time trader) and i would like to know how many trades (scalps) do you make daily? (on average)

I make around 10 - 25 trades daily with 1 - 5 standard lots

I make anywhere from 1-8 trades a day. Usually around 2-4 a day though.

Typically 3-7 trades with 7-8 lots targeting 30-40 pips/day.

I create another new trading style .. now sometimes im scalping volatility in area of big resistances .. so im making aroung 200 - 400 scalps in this area if there are big fighst between bulls and bears (3 pips TP, 20 pips SL, 5 lot position)

At friday i made 335 scalps .. wonderfull day

I scalp 20 trades a day, the more trade I took the more I will get loss.

True. The real question is what is the win:loss ratio.

The number of trades for me are never fixed.

I wait for the set ups to be formed and then trade .

Some days i make 10 trades or more , some days 1 or none if no set up.

I dont compail myself to trade when there is no set up because that usually tends to loss.

win : loss ratio was 87% .. i made such big amount of scalps, because i use pyramide scheme + bigger account .. sometimes i have opened 20 trades at one time + you have to have great broker! (fast without requiting)

I'm just wondering If you made 335 scalps with 87% win ratio, my calculations would have you at a loss. Thats if you stuck too your 3 pip TP/ 20 pip stop loss. The broker would be licking his lips with all the brokerage fee's.

No, i was at 300 pips profit .. i use 5 - 20 pips SL + different lot size for each position .. i called it pyramide scheme .. easy example: i open first position at 1.4385, 1 lot with SL 1.4410, second with 1 lot at 1.4388, third at 1.4392 with 2 lots, fourth at 1.4395 with 4 lots, fifth at 1.4400 with 7 lots and still SL 1.4410

it was only demo, but show how my trading style works

it is really important to be fast as possible and be able close and open up to 15 positions in one minute.

It's not quantity, but rather quality.

I tend to make no more than 4 trades per day (typically 1-2 standard lots). But most days I place 0 trades.gl

I just trade enough to get my daily target of +5 %. In regular days I get that in 2 trades. then I close for the day.
