This is my first time to see a rate cut not following then standard 25/50/75 bps. 20 bps cut?? What next?? 13 bps?
That day of global simultaneous rate cuts, Japan had to apologize for not being able to cut 0.50bp out of a 0.5% interest rate

Just heard on Bloomberg that some $ bulls are calling for the Euro to reach Parity in 2009.

Well, I've read that dollar is going to take on the chin as soon as the cash that flocked into treasury gets back to higher yields..
Of course both can happen. Euro down to parity by 2009, then dollar down the drain afterwards...
It will depend on how deep in the shithole global economy is going.
