OK ill assume this is what Orest want, i will make a similar format for this one
but for IBFX and then will post it. Right now i am havinrg problem in my DDE connection, but ill think of something else. Regards

Should the basis of the "Trend direction" correlate with the Total pips calculation.?
I am seeing Long(Strong) trend indications with pip totals in the negative.

i will be one very grateful for it too. Since this image was posted i was wondering what should be pairs for IBFX version.

plus some details of what should happen BEFORE enconter the pairs in this condition.

There are getting to be so many basket threads. I may have missed it somewhere, but has anyone done an indi that will plot the basket on a chart in a format that we could apply an MA to it or other indicators? Maybe it's already been done and I've forgotten. Thanks.

What is the output in yours in the data window? And what is the divisor?

LOL beats me. I just use mine. I can apply any of the canned indicators to it.

It has been normalized to the 100 range. If you want the raw data, set the divisor to 1.

Yours shows up in the lower indicator window, correct?

I have some custom indis I wanted to apply, but it needs to be in the main window.

I have developed a new indicator with an Alert to give warning that it is time to Sell or Buy the 14 pairs. This is based on price action of all pairs.

The price of the bars is normalized to be between 100 and 200 for ease of viewing.

I run this on a 1 hour chart, but it can be run on anytime frame depending on how much wipsaw one can tolerate. I have made some very good trades with it. It is not a new system it is in keeping with T101's concepts, but also includes price action. It is only a tool to use with the basic system.

I run it on a GBPJPY chart because it is the most active.

Here is the template I use, the profit buys and sells indiactor and the BasketBars indicator. Use it if you like.

Attached is an image of BuySellBasket I've modified for each currency group USD, JPY and Others.
So, solid red line is All pairs Sell trades, solid Green all pairs Buy trades,
dotted Green JPY pairs Buy trades, dotted Yellow USD pairs Buy trades, dotted Red Other pairs Buy trades. Obviousely if Buys are above zero they are in ptofit, below in loss.

Note: basically JPY group is a vehicle of entire currency basket. The curve of moving JPY group is almost perfectly follows the entire basket Total. I wonder if we do that right trading other pairs at all (paying spread) or should we adjust lot sizes of slower moving pairs to compensate their slow motion.
Somebody from another T101's thread noticed EURJPY movent resembles the basket movement.
Here is another prove of that, but extended to entire JPY pair. This is just thinking out loud, no negativity intended.

Yes, I am looking for a quasi buy climax or sell climax bar to give an alert. The buy climax and sell climax are based on Wycoff and Tom Williams teachings.

They are similar to a Pin bar except the threshold of the close can be different and the open is not considered. In my case, I have the threshold set at 40%. What that means is in a Buying Climax, if a bar makes a higher high than the previous bar and then sells off to close below 40% of the current bar's range, that would be a sell signal. The oposite is true for a Selling Climax. only it would go lower and then close above 60% of the bar's range.

Normally Volume would also be considered. We would be looking for very high or very low volume. However, there is no use in doing that with MT4, because the volume is only from retail traders which is nearly useless.

It has been very reliable in the time I have tested it.

Good morning to all,

I've revised my BUY JPY pairs and SELL JPY pairs program. Moved some pairs into different group based on long term TREND and chart comparison between all high volatility/low spread currency pairs. Removed NZD pairs so that existing HEATMAP indicator could be used. Here's the link with new trading scripts, look in post #9:

Guys, using BuySellbasket v2 (tf15, lookback 12) and Profitchart (Default) on a 15 m tf the following short trade was taken at 08:19 GMT and exited at 08:30 GMT with 270 positive pips. Of course Used the Orest's amazing T101_v1.14 was used to confirm the trend.

A picture speaks many words they say, this one speaks about 270 Hope this helps.
