Looking at usd index I see a bearish div in the rsi on the daily and expect this to drop . On this note I would like to share 2 charts of the gbpusd.

the 4 hour has an ascending triangle , with a top at 1.7600. A 1-2-3 buy with fib extensions plotted on it gives us upside targets of :
1.7465 , 1.7661 , 1.7801 , 1.8000

The daily has a bullish div on the rsi that has been building. supporting the breakout of the 1.7400 level

no problem bro. there is something else however that i would like to note. 80% of my mid-long term analysis are correct. the thing is, however, timing. oil prices can choose to stay in these levels for a week of time, it might even go a bit lower to catch some stops. i'm going to wait for the best setup to go long for my 3rd swing trade ever on oil. that short i had from 110 was closed when we hit 87 (too bad it wasn't a big order...). to further support my assumption, take a look at what it did back at 110, i have to see, i was stopped 2 times before i had the chance to set my SL to an actual "safe" profit level and confident it wouldn't go back there before it hit my target. currently i've been stopped once when i hit the buy trigger at 72.

for GJ. some people say up, some say down. it might be neither. we might range for another lousy week..... who knows!

i'm not trying to underestimate your assumptions, but since u made that rather confident post last week, i was running thoroughly across my charts, but i really didn't find any indication of price going to above 195-197, that area is TOUGH. or rather let me put this way. the entire area of 185 - 197 is critical. going there might suggest another long ranging period and going above that should suggest NOT seeing anything below it for a long time to come.

2 weeks ago when i thought that 166 was the bottom, i wasn't implying that i'm sure it was the absolute bottom, but rather it was meant to serve as a temporary - mid term bottom at the least. i think i was right on that one

I pay a great deal of attention to what Quecee5 and Orion have to say.

They "get it" in the bigger picture of things. Same with Markham and M2Bouys, Arezab, and others....
