I know what you mean, and besides what will you use for CAD if C means CHF?

My bright idea is to simply use a colored arrow (5 colors pointing N, NE, E, SE, S) to indicate change of position in place of current number and colored triangle. Use NE dark green for 1 up and N bright green for 2 (or more) up; SE orange for 1 down and S bright red for 2 or more down. That should save 3 spaces.

What do you think?

Might we get a better feel for the "ebbs and flows" if we started a new column at the open of every market. (ie NZ open/ tokto open/london ope/Ny open) as well/

where as T101_v1.11-orest has the shorter calculation's based on 'the begginning of the bar" for thew daily 4H and 1H

and the v1.13 replaces these calculations, based on 240 bars back on the 4H column, using 1M bars and the same config. for the hour bars.
Thus changing every minute calculating the changes between 241 bars back and 240 barsback/in relationship to the current (one minute) bar and the previous one minute bar.

Although the second method gives us better flow, it denies us an actual historical significance.

What I am suggesting is if each column represents the opening of a major market (obviouslyfor intra day examinatuion) we might then see the waves of activity in a different light...
I know my communication skills aren't sharp, but I hope a few of u get what I mean. It seems that it wouldn't be too difficult to adjust the indicator per those perameters (said the non programmer.)

1. I trade live and see no need to disclose my total PnL.
2. I don't trade with MT4 broker and don't want to total up pips for each of 14 positions. I look at the total PnL for the basket and current market conditions to decide when to exit.

it will not work in every timeframe. in some timeframes there is only one coloumn.

There would only be 1 column if there is no history yet. Open a D1 chart, add the indicator, set the Open Date to "2008.10.14 00:00". You will see only one column because there is only 1 (the current day) interval between your open date/time and the current date/time.

Now, on the same chart set the Open Date to "2008.10.01 00:00". What happens?

Also, you may get goofy results if you don't have enough data for each currency pair. I have found it helps to either reboot the indicator or simply delete it and try again.

what does this mean in the row at the bottom, where you show the basis of currencies. is this the sum of all pairs for buy and sell of basis and quote? and the total at the end?

For each currency, we show the performance for that currency. Not the performance for the pairs the currency is a part of. But actually the performance for the currency itself within each pair.

For example, EURUSD is a sell in this system. If EURUSD is -21 pips, then USD is -21 pips and EUR is +21 pips. You just add up all values for each currency.

Another example, EURGBP is a buy in this system. If EURGBP is +50 pips, then EUR is +50 pips and GBP is - 50 pips.

For me the strongest indication of B\S basket is total number
of pips......the spread for all the pairs is about 80 pips, i wait total to
be double of that amount. And as far as the buysellbasket indic, I use
it for timing.....I dont even look at the pairs, or the trend on orest indic
before I see that the buysellbasket have crossed......after crosing I
wait T to be almost double from spread, and only then I enter a basket.
Buysellbasket indicator is great for exiting a trades.....sometimes you
can exit to early....but safe pips is a safe pips!

FF - I assume you watch them on 1h column, don't you?

Hint about BuySellBasket - sometimes after huge swing current movent is almost unnoticable. Reduce number of bars on the chart (indi's parameter), expand chart (shift_+ several times).
