Thanks for this. I notice though that when you cursor over the lines, the lime, green and yellow display the pip info, but the brick, red and orange do not. And of the info it does display, isn't it backwards -- the greens are sell totals rather than buys.
Fixed the bug. One of the dangers of copy paste. I forgot to change the buffer for the lable and reepeated 0, 1, 2 for the second set of buffers used for sell all.

Bug fixed. Danger of too many copy paste. Forgot to change identity number from 1 to 2, 3, 4, etc in variables collected for FXDD.

No bug for IBFX variables.

New version with addition of input for BuySetColor and SellSetColor just after symbol and price inputs for FXDD sets.
Green is difficult to see on my setup so this allows Lime or ??? to be used.
Also did a little code cleanup.

I have opened a hedge trade of 7 buys and 7 sells. I adjusted in the trades columns for the negatives to be on top. Every time a negative pair would hit -50 I closed it and open the same pair in the opposite direction.

I attached the close at equity amount (EA) to a seperate chart solely for this EA and set it to +100 of current balance. I have opened and closed 7 trades in the last 2hrs for a +700 on a choppy Friday from 9am est till around 11. Interesting. I will continue to test.

So you need 2 charts open, one for the hedge and one for the equity take profit, which are both placed in the experts file not the scripts. I imagine T101"s 2ProtectAccount would be a good one to use also.

I'm sorry Orest to put this in your development thread but I know you guys are interested.

Added another (EA folder not scripts) which I use alot.

Oh, so it's which one is crossing up? I thought if sells were crossing down, then that means sells are making profit. My error, thanks.

So you keep reversing any negative that hits -50 pips, then allow the EA to close all at 100 pips? And that happened 7 times Friday? -- very interesting.

The set that is up is the one in profit. If sells are below line-0, they are losing money.

Happened in 2 hrs BenQ, I had opened the hedge trade that 101 suggest to monitor for anchors changes and noticed through the week it was +100 several times, so I attached the equity ea at +100 and won a couple times. I like trades that hedge themselves and then shows profit of 100. A couple hundred pips weekly without much worry would be fine for me. Just though of this -50 reverse system on Friday at 8:30 est, won 7 times and closed because it was getting to be the afternoon. If it continues to be positive I'll open a thread. Love this indicator thread. Thanks Orest.

I am not yet familiar with what inputs work for the EA. I just modified the code to allow for trading either of the broker lists. I did not modify the general logic so the trades should be placed using the same logic, just with different sets of currency pairs.

I would suggest trying the default for FXDD set on a demo and see what happens.

I also have not tested the trading time as it is used in this EA. The code works in other EAs I have coded, just did not have a chance to test if the logic of trade vs no trade is correct for this particular ea.

Any feedback is welcome.

Very good information there my friend. I have a feeling come late Nov through to middle of January it could be the same as the summer months you show if the markets return to normal.

Hi Folks !

At the moment we have extreme volatility in the markets.
So the tradehedge system is working very well.
A lot of guys have presented results with thousands of pips.

I wonder whats going on with the system when the market volatility
is going back to normal values (flat trading periods).

Perhaps Julius (T101) can tell something about his trading experience
during "normal" market conditions.

By the way I like what I read ....

lucky you - you have a guy who actually has read the entire original T101's thread. In those times Julius trades individual closely correlated pairs like G/U, G/J and others. I won't say more to get you interested.

Here is attached current indicator image (trading is not open yet). Let's take a look at AUDUSD on different time frames. As you could see it behaved as strongest pair on longer time frames and not very strong on 4h and 1h. So, where do you think this pair would go next?

only necessary to change te Remark 1 and 2. Again, not a big problem, only to avoid confunsion.

Long term trends surely have dips (counter trends), the zig-zag pattern you know. These counter trends are short term as can be seen only on the 4h and 1h TF. Soon after this counter trend gets over, the long term downtrend will continue as is clearly evident from the higher TFs and this will be further confirmed when AU starts to jump up, first in the 1h TF followed by a jump up in the 4h TF.

UPDATE 10/12/2008

version 1.13 is out.
Indicator becomes expert advisor type. Now no delays in ticks. Don't put it in /indicators folder.
I pulled some documentation together .

I think that was end of week profit taking Friday afternoon and is likely to remain best of breed
