I think this signalled the end of the EURO party.

DislikedHey thanks for the ideas.
Guys which Timeframe are u shorting at?
I'm sure Daily is not the TF to go short currently..
I DO understand H1 or H4 is
..maybe that would be the way to go currently.
personalme:
for USD/JPY:
I wouldn't say this being in a downtrend on any timeframe really. Am I missing sth?
And EUR/JPY looks like EUR/USD, doesn't it?
I also remember Jacko looked at GBP/USD occasionally btw.., but that's the same as with EUR/JPY..

DislikedHi Isotonic,
No, this will not be a live trades journal....been there, done that....If anyone is seriously interested in seeing the "emotion" and "excitement" of that, then they can look at the previous one at Dailyfx.
Rather than give traders here a fish (or trade), I would rather that they learn how to fish (trade) so they can get as many fish as they want.

DislikedHi guys!
I love this forex business more than any other business in the world, but I was wondering, if this market will always be here for us in the present shape? I mean, I don't mind the present volatility (you can still make profits if you wait for good setups and manage your trades) and I don't mind the present taxes (anymore), but can we expect the markets and the "terms" of trading to remain the same for at least couple of more decades?
You know, I'd hate to see this business closed down after I put so much work in it and after being more consistent than ever.
What do you guys think? Would governments hate to see us making profits so "easily"?
Maybe I'm a bit disillusioned in my thinking, but it represents a small fear in the back of my head.Ignored

DislikedHi Hendrix
I've been thinking this very same thing and honestly I'm not sure it would last decades. I'm not really a New World Order or Apocalypse type of guy (LOL!) but if the market makes it well passed 2012, I'll change my stance on it not lasting for decades.
For now I'll just take whatever the market gives me one day at a time and worry about the future as it unfolds...Ignored
DislikedAs long as different countries use different currencies and want to trade between themselves there will be a market. I can't see any government wanting to stop it because it's fundamental to the overseas trading of any country.
As for stopping the individual from trading there will always be a route to market even if you have to trade through a different country to your own. A bit like online gambling in the US, the government has tried to stop it put it has no jurisdiction outside their borders.Ignored
