Here is a coded EA.

This EA is based on the assumption that the bull/bear cross has to happen after the stoch signal.

Personally, I think I'm missing something because the trades I'm seeing are all getting stopped out prematurely, and I'm getting a 30% hit rate.

So...any particular limit? (1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars, floor?)


I updated the EA so you can now set the maximum distance between stoch cross and bull/bear cross.

THANKS ALOT FOR EA. I HAVE TRY ON VISUAL MOAD STRATEGY TESTER BUT ITS NOT TAKING ANY POSITION , MY METATRADER IS ALPARY IF IM GOING TO CHANGE ANY SETTING??, PLEASE CHECK THAT KINDLY.

Did you change the lot size? Default lot size is 0.

It's a personal measure I put in to prevent people from blindly attaching my EAs to their live accounts and blaming me for the losses they incur.

in fact this is the first time im my life that im going to test an EA,
i have chanched the lot size but not yet working , i dont know where is my mistake!

Change control points to each tick.

And check your journal. See if there are any errors.

And to fix the smiley face, press F7 and change the common tab settings to allow live trading with no manual confirmation.

Ronald Raygun, if you could take his Sto warning and give a warning of sell if MA 9 is below the 50 or a buy if MA 9 is above 50. This would cut down on the false signals. You wouldnt get buy dings when you only want sell dings. Thanks.

OR
I have a MA cross warning indicator, can you change the code so it only gives sound warning for sell if MA 9 is below 50 ma and sound warning for buy if MA 9 is above 50 MA. This would be very helpful, I wouldnt have to listen to it ding so much. I also attached a pic and template showing the MA cross signals.

Dashlat!!!! Is great this indicator!!! please you can teach an example of trade, entrances and exits?
in other TF is also very good, but to my taste 1M, I add this flag to my system and now almost 100% reliable.

Go back to Post #4 and look at his examples! What more can he teach you about this? How many other examples do you need to understand it?
He can't make it any clearer.

You'll never be a successful trader IMO if you constantly need to be spoon fed! Do your own research now! Who knows. Doing it ourself you just may discover a better way to trade it!
