I am not sure how much credence people pay to price patterns, but on the Euro we have a head and shoulders pattern on the 4hr, with a price projection down to the M2 yearly pivot. Some food for thought

that's a bailout failure spike rather than head and shoulders in my opinion....these days technical analysis is quite useless....mess must be settled first

what do you look for when you look at CME group EU style options daily volume ? Does the volume indicated a possible bias for the day ?

Nope you can get them through IFR (reuters) through oanda's news feed (need a demo) or gft publishes some on thier website http://www.gftforex.com/resources/news.asp ....retail brokers but the orders get published to everyone in hopes of gaining market momentum.

Oh I was just saying that because of the few number of trades taken/listed there. Sorry if it sounds salesey or cheesey or something......

thanks pipeye! you da man......by the way Im really familiar with this technique (its from Tom DeMark) and I got a projection of about 3800 (high 37's) using the bigger trendline. you agree?

same as any stock chart or anything else - strong volume, strong move = continuation or reach into the area of the naked strike - put/call ratio also looked at in order to see where the masses are looking

Hey BRV!

I have a 623 pip projection down to 1.3700 on the nose -- measured from peak to middle of trendline--. I am torn on this one, as I have a long order in at 1.3997 and I want to see this sucker run. What are your feelings here, do you think we will make it up to fill the gap 1.4565-1.4587?

Target is 150 pips for now. Im up about +50 right now so Im going to lock at breakeven soon. Otherwise, the local low here around 3974.

TD's projections for TL BO rarely reach the full "potential". I typically budget for 50% of the TD calcs.

I am also curiious as to you SL...used to be TP 240 - SL 40.....is it still forty initially???
