Hi Justin,

Is there a way to widen the columns on Navigator more? When I have orderbook open I can't see all of the information in the column and when an alert pops up I also can't see the whole message. I can drag and widen the column to an extent, but not far enough to see it all.

just double click the boundaries of the column header, like excel. if you want you can modify how many information is giving you by editing what to show in those columns, by removing useless info and adding crucial ones.

Similar to the Market Depth window, this is only a portion of volume displayed on our system.

I know you'll disagree with me. But, the trading platform is confusing as compared with the simplicity of MT4. I've had an account with MB for about two years, and trade it sparingly for that very reason. What I now want to do is straddle orders, where I would buy a pair at 100 pips above the daily open, and sell it at 100 pips below the open. If either the buy or sell is hit, I want the opposing order to be automatically canceled. Your TTO feature allows this only one way. I don't believe this is possible with MB, but just thought I'd check. I know MT4 doesn't allow it, either, but Interactive Brokers does. IB is even MORE confusing than MB Trading when it comes to order entry!

tell me if i am wrong...
today i've seen market depths of 20000, i get from your older posts that 1 unit in "size" columns means 1k that means 20 million liquidity pool? and that is only a portion as you say in this recent message?

where can i find or how can i calculate the real liquidity pool of your broker?

Recently MBT raised the minimum order size from 100 units to 1000 units. Are there any plans to bring this back? I know that 100 is a small order but with some systems granularity is a good thing.

looks like EFX spread on GBP/JPY is getting wider, even wider than FXCM.

your Brokerage as the recommended Broker ........

Do I need written permission for that recommendation ?

Would be nice if they could have OCA orders where you place a buy and a sell order, and if they buy is triggered, the sell is canceled.

Hi,

I like to know if EFX has any plans (soon) to allow accounts in other currency beside USD. As a foreigner, I really like to have my account holdings in Swiss Franc, Yen etc other then USD especially in view of current US economic policy. If not, i may consider closing EFX in the long term which is a shame.

That is correct, your funds would be protected by the FDIC. For instance, MB Trading clients funds are maintained separately at Wells Fargo Bank, a federally insured bank .

I was under the impression that only individual funds were protected up to 100k (or now 250k)? Isnt your segregated account larger then 250k?

COMEX Metals Now Available

Effective September 2nd, 2008 you can now trade COMEX metals contracts, which include full-sized Gold, Silver, Copper and Aluminum, as well as MiNY Gold, Silver, and Copper. Recent mergers have linked the NYMEX/COMEX exchange with the CME, which allows the COMEX products to be traded from Sunday through Friday via the CME Globex trading platform. A 45-minute break in trading occurs each day between 5:15 pm and 6:00 pm EDT. The MiNY versions of the gold, silver, and copper contracts are 50% of the size of their respective standard-sized metals contracts. Unlike other discount on-line competitors, MB Trading's fees for the new symbols are all-inclusive. No minimum commission is charged for small-sized trading.

Russell and Dollar Futures Now Available via ICE

We recently completed integration with ICE, the Intercontinental Exchange. Recently, ICE announced that they would have the exclusive rights to the Russell 2000 and Russell 1000 futures contract beginning after the September contract expired.

Five symbols will be traded via ICE, including the full- and mini-size Russell 1000 and Russell 2000 contracts as well as the US Dollar Index contract known as the DX. Commission rates through MB Trading are $1.50 for the mini contracts and $2 for the full contracts. These fees are all-inclusive to the trader, as are all MB Trading futures commissions. No additional processing or exchange fees apply. Margin and maintenance requirements on the new contracts can be viewed on the company's website..
