I know, it's starting to get on my nerves, everything is either holding or spiking, and it's a pretty irritating overall effect. Gold has a pretty big seller up at 911. Somebody is emptying out some stolen Pharaoh treasure up there.

Have a less stressful weekend folks. So glad I'm passing by these parts of the intarwebs again, feels good to see everybody panicking together so it's not an individual effort

Well, my offer for R$ 36 was not taken... Turns out it was good, coz I really thought we'd see another carnage all the way from NYC to São Paulo and would be able to buy again at a nice discount. Didn't happen.

It was still a bad day for Bovespa, know why?

Two big exporter food companies reported MASSIVE losses due to currency betting. CFOs kicked out and all, really messy. Surely those smart asses put the company's money in currencies to hedge against the rising Real.

Turns out, USDBRL went up 3,000 pips in the last few weeks. I can bet my shoes that those companies have decided to go greedy and went to the market with a nice piece of leverage...

Well, Sadia is down 35% today only.

To close the Friday, whipsaws everywhere, Dow is up 0.6%, Nasdaq / S&P down, oil up&down, euro up&down, gold placing a huge daily whipsaw...
