If we can break above the 38.2 (from the main downtrend) in the next couple of hours I think we will go back and retest the 987 fib. Interestingly I notice the TD Seq indicator called a reversal (the 13) right at the 987 fib just before we started to go back down.

maybe break up to the 61.8/610 fib...what do you guys think...must admit i have never traded this one before

Yesterday's low of 1.0803 is giving support. Better to wait for it to break this support then jump in.

Here is a potential EUR short set up. We have our fib zones going south. We've taken out the 233 fib zone and we've retraced back to the 61.8% retracement level just short of the 89 fib zone (pink circle). Wait until price goes down, retraces and then starts down again before getting in. Once the pattern of the red lines is played out we have a confirmation of a down trend. Price should take out the green 61.8 and yellow 100 fib expansions at the bottom of the chart before hitting the 377 fib zone.

We are not "messing" it up. In a normal trading system thread I can see how that could be the case. However, Mouteki has a separate website forexgemini.com that we revert back to for our training. This thread should be open discussion on everything Mouteki related, including setups. That is what is so great about having everything nicely organized on a seperate site.

Right now its a pain in the butt when anyone's been away for a few hours catching up and trying to work through the posts.

Firstly, it would help a lot if everyone used the Title Box and put in the pair that they are talking about - that would make it much easier to follow an individual pair.

I think that the idea of Sub Threads is worthwhile considering - like:

Euro vs US Dollar, GBP, Yen

GBP vs US Dollar, CHF, Yen

US Dollar vs CHF, CAD, Yen

AUS $ & NZD$ vs US$, Yen, CHF

Others

What do you guys think?

@ FewHills,

Thanx for the great indicator. I noticed that when I change the FontSize from the default 10 and switch timeframe it will reset itself to the default of 10 again. Is this something you can change or is it a MT4 problem?

Do we have a new 0 on the euro? If we consider 1.4865 as the new 0, look at the way it has bounced 4times off the 233 zone.

1. First move from 1.4865 to 1.4621.
2. If we draw fibs, candle hits the 50.0 ret., shoots down but does not take the 61.8 exp out.
3. Then Retraces to the 61.8 ret. level at 1.4760 and again shoots down. As I write this we are seeing it bounce off the 233 zone again.

So are we looking for it to take out the 61.8 exp. and then retrace to the 144 level so that we can go short. Please comment guys.

TimeFreedom, I'm at my work at the moment, so I can't have a look at it now, but I think this is a MT4 problem.
Still I will look at this matter as soon as I have the opportunity to do so.

Those are my thoughts as well. One question: why do you think it needs to retrace back to the 144 before we can go short? I know it has to retrace from the 61.8 exp, but why the 144 and not just the 233? Just wondering. Still trying to learn.

It has already hit the 233 and retraced to the 144 twice, so I don't think it has to again.

It's all about breaking that stubborn 233 level.

The pair has been range bound for near three days now.
