I have no idea of the difference between a Shiff Fork and an Andrews Pitch Fork - other than that it seems from your chart that the inception point is more objective, so some more info would be welcome. I put up an APF, but obviously it doesn't match your SF as its lower median line caught the lows of the move.

However, the time around FO and LO often provide reversals, so any valid analysis that confirms a possible turning point around that time must be looked at....I actually came up with a Lucas time line at 3am EDT tomorrow....pity it isnt a day later http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

The Schiff Median Line can also be used when the regular Median Line is unusually steep. The procedure for drawing a Schiff Median Line is the same as a regular Median Line except the starting point is drawn at the midpoint between P1 and P2 (either in time and in price - I use Fib Retrac. to find that point - 50% ) rather than from P1.

This is where my eyes will be focusing if we get there. it is the 610 fib level from the move up at 3882. It's also the 38 fib retracement from the original move up from 3882. It's also about 15-20 pips off the 50 fib retracement from the last push north which started at 4148. It is also the bottom or supporting fork as was depicted here by (sorry, forgot the name) another member.

Seems like a great deal of confluence coming around that area. Definitely an area of interest.

I don't know. . . I kinda like talking about other currency pairs. I never really looked at any others besides eur/usd until just recently. This has helped me branch out. Plus if we're all hear together we don't have to keep checking other threads all the time--we'd just all be based here. Just my thoughts. . .

Me too. The 4492 level was the level I posted in my chart on this thread last night and only got a few replies to my question if this was a major fib retraction point that would be hit before it would head up again.

Yeah but if I want to see what others think about the EUR/USD right now using the Mouteki Method, I have to skim through 5 pages and pick out that information every 7th post.
There would only be 4 or 5 sub-forums, for the major majors, then there could be one for the others.

It sounds like a good idea at first thought, but I'm going to have to disagree. If I'm not mistaken Mouteki himself said that this thread is for all of us to discuss what is going on with his system. We are not "messing" it up. In a normal trading system thread I can see how that could be the case. However, Mouteki has a separate website forexgemini.com that we revert back to for our training. This thread should be open discussion on everything Mouteki related, including setups. That is what is so great about having everything nicely organized on a seperate site.

Here is my view of the E/J using the H4 chart. I draw most of my analysis from a H4 or D1 chart. It looks like price has respected the fibs and has now stalled at the 987 Fib Zone ("FZ") area. At this point I would wait until a retracement to the 38.2% and the 610 FZ to take a long trade.

Yeah I do see your point. I mostly look for the eur/usd posts, but I do read all others as well. But I do have more interest in the e/u. So I guess whatever. . . I'm fine with it. Because I'm still going to be interested in this method above all others!!
