Just a few charts on the eurusd, eurjpy and audusd pairs.

eurusd = bias is down
eurjpy = bias is down
audusd = bias is down

For the most part, the above pairs have waves collapsing and whenever I see that, it means sell. I keep selling until we break waves going up. Keep in mind the market is never too high to buy and too low to sell.

For those that are interested. Here is a chart showing a weekly wave collapse. If I was trading Jacko's method based on the weekly trend, I would now only be taking short positions. Watch for price to drop at or near the 50.0% fib retracement and also keep an eye on resistance levels.

Just a quick update for those that are wondering what the eurusd is doing. We had a wave collapse around 1.5800 and since then waves have continued to collapse. Unless we start breaking waves up, there is absolutely no reason to go long right now. If you are using Jacko's method with the weekly chart, I strongly advise sitting aside until we break waves up.

4 hour wave analysis
On the 4 hour chart there was wave collapses going down however it seems to have subsided a little. What does this mean? All it means is that price is taking a breather before it decides it's next move. It may also be setting itself up to create waves up.

If we break the base of the current wave (orange horizontal line) and close below the base, that is a confirmed wave collapse and the market would most likely continue down further. If we break the blue horizontal line and close above it, we have a confirmed wave break up, meaning there is a high probability the market may start to climb.


daily wave analysis
On the daily chart we have a confirmed wave collapse. This tells me there is a high probability the market wants to move further down. This does not mean to sell now but to rather wait for the market to pull back up first and when it turns south, that's when you look for opportunities to sell.


Bias for this pair is down

An updated view on the eurusd. This afternoon there was a confirmed break up on the eurusd 4 hour. This has now changed my bias for this pair to up. See chart attached.

Hey Sonic

Things are going well. Took some hits yesterday but I'm confident I'll make back the losses. The market has been very choppy this week and I think it's because most of the currencies are reversing (on the 4 hour). Usually when this happens the waves become shallower and often times there is some sideways movement which results in losses.

I'm currently in a eurusd long position with stops at breakeven. As for holding the long position, this will be determined by what the market decides. My guess is that we will probably start making waves up but you know how it goes lol. If it decides to break down again, I will be looking for short positions. Be prepared for both.

Hope you managed to catch some of that move up.

Early this morning the eurusd had a wave collapse on the 4 hour. Bias for this pair has now changed back to down. Will be looking for short positions.

Ok... well it's been quite a while since I've posted my views on the eurusd since this pair has been pretty much in a freefall. In post#1497 back on July 22, I stated we had a wave collapse and my bias had changed to down. Since then, we have pretty much been collapsing waves down except for the one instance back on August 16 (see post#1508) where it looked like we were starting to break waves up only to have them collapse again so my bias once again switched to down.

It is now September 12, 2008 and we are starting to show signs again of a possible wave break up. I have attached a 4 hour chart showing the early signs of what looks to be a wave break. I have now changed my bias to up and will be looking for long positions next week.

My plan was to update when the euro changes direction. I'm a little behind on this last move since I've been busy.

Ok... so here's the chart for the euro. My bias has changed on the euro to bearish once again after we started collapsing waves.

There's two approaches the waves could have been traded. Either the collapse of the smaller wave (orange line) which is what I took or the collapse of the bigger wave (white line).

Another fellow trader sent me this pdf which I thought was a really good read. This former pit trader goes over things like the psychology of losses, sticking to a plan, cutting your losses short and other useful nuggets of information which will help you to become a better trader.
