I'm sure some institutions have built their systems to offer swap free trading by adding cost to the spread or trade commission, but that is not our model and I don't know of any US brokers offering such.
Ok thanks..oh one more thing are you Deal disk or STP that you mentioned and if you're STP and having banks to provide liquidity well, how many banks are you dealing with and if the bank is lending me the rest of the leverage money to initiate a position how come that he lend me money and at the end of the day he gives me swap also if the trade is swap +ve shouldn't he be taking money in either cases for his loan?

it seems that i'm realy missing something and ai really appreciate your help.

On a seprate thread somebody brought up the topic regarding the safety of funds in view of the current banking crisis.

Can you shed some light on MBT's position in this matter ?

I'm not following - this group owns a site that has MB Trading, amongst hundreds of other brokers listed for review.

It appears the internet is full of lots of things....I try not to pay attention to most of it.

Just a quick question. I have opened an account with MBT a couple of months ago, I still haven't funded it until now. I tried to access my account a few days ago and navigator returns "login rejected for reason: invalid username" does it mean my account has been closed?

I've recently had a few clients ask me for some recommendations on Forex books, and even though I have a few I personally like, I wanted to know your thoughts so I can compile a list.

Please post your favorites and if you can tell me why, even better.

Hi Justin,

my personal recommendations are:

"Forex Patterns & Probabilities" by Ed Ponsi - Wiley Trading.
I think it is really 'eye opening': Ponsi has the ability to explain even complex strategy with a easy to understand language. It also explain how the "big moneys" trade forex and why a trader should avoid an "only 10 pips target" way of trading.

"Trading for a living" by Dr Elder. It explains the basic concept of trading and the origin of the various indicators commonly used. Even if it is primarily targeted to stock trading, the concept explained are the basis for trading any market.

"Aventures of a Currency Trader" by Rob Booker - Wiley Trading.
Very funny and insightful. Using an invented character, it describes the journey of becoming a successful trader, starting from the disasters every beginner is likely to determine.

Some question for MBTrading and (i think) EFX as both have the same platform, Navigator...

I've already talked to live support, now studied your various type of orders, and thought of a way to overcome my entry/exit strategy, with one big doubt though....

With you is impossible to modify stoplosses... am I right?

Let's just say that i don't scale in and decide to go for a 1/2 lot market+TTO order, and for the other half i want to enter a market order + a stoploss, and then i want to move that stoploss to a different price, what order should i choose?

Hi JJ,

You can right click on either the TTO or StopLoss pending order to change it. You'll need to have your Open Orders window up in order to do so.

I have a question about the forex charts in the MBT navigator. There is some volume histogram below the charts, is this some kind of volume indicator , which is just an estimate of volume, or is this actually a real volume of the transactions through MBT?
