Gotta tellya, when all this shit is done, there will be so much bargains across the globe that it will be hard to pick a few.

Some companies with strong fundamentals, excellent balance, awesome forecast for the future are being treated like garbage right now. Speculation, short selling, fear? Whatever.

Fact is: there will be fresh buying opportunities so beautiful that we might not live enough to hit the sell button.

Sept. 18 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks rose as the world's biggest central banks planned to pump $247 billion into the financial system and regulators cracked down on abusive speculation against bank shares.

No they don't block me, I think it's the web site that is hosting some of them. They temporarily go down from time to time. It's working now, I added a bunch more this morning. Check it out and give me a 1 star rating.
I want the only thread that has this terrible rating

My Petrobras is kicking ass.

I don't know if you guys have access to Brazilian stocks, but Petrobras has a strong buy recommendation by major Brazilian banks here. They are calling Petro around R$ 61.00 a share by december - today R$ 32.00.

Petro has reached 1.9 million barrels a day (historical record) and by early 2009 it will have another 640 thousand barrels a day added (production starts in Q4). This added production is actually the major reason-why for this buy opportunity.

Same for Vale, some 100%+ by year's end.

*Not a trade advise, trade at your own discretion, risk's on you, lubricate the system before jumping on the boner long, blah blah blah....

DOW +400

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is working on a plan that would set up a government facility to take on bad debts from financial institutions, preventing a worsening of the global credit crisis, Wall Street sources have told CNBC.

Stocks whipsawed back into positive territory after regulators in the US and Europe took aim at short sellers and progress continued toward resurrecting the Resolution Trust Corporation to dispose of bad bank assets.

A UK ban, NY state probe, and new SEC rules ... short sellers are coming under seige in the wake of this week's market turmoil.

Shame on you! Shame on you!
