Palmer:

I trade options with a Hungarian bank. I'm working in a brokerage firm and we deal directly with banks here. But I think it could be the same price as you see in Saxotrader f.ex. Or you can check out the InteractiveBrokers. They're really good at options.

Hookem28, I just got out after 85 pips. I just wanted to lock in my profit especially with this Hurricane.

Palmer,
This thing turned right at the last minute it is pretty much a lost cause now. That is why I have insurance. I am taking my boat and leaving.

Good luck in trading the rest of this week and watch out for speculation in oil there are a lot of platforms where "Ike" is.

You in Texas too? I'm hoping Austin doesn't get hit too hard.
Congrats on the trade. I got out +100. Seemed like a nice round number. Nice day for us Yen traders too. Congrats to everyone that jumped aboard.

bsh: i don't even think looked at the monthly lately..thanks for reminding us to check out the longer term aspect of things. When a market is trending like this it's imperative to look at the larger picture to find the longer term s/r areas...

Working on getting the hourly stuff on the website, no really. Pending Phillip's okee dokee on the additional ingredients for this huge bowl of soup we call trading...

USDCHF. Firstly sorry at the moment I'm unable to post charts as at work....

I'm short on USDCHF 1.1380. 4HR MACD producing an RT at the close of the 8amGMT candle. I know this may be a bit premature but with the 38.20% fib line (1.2487 high - 96.25 low) at 1.4 this should act as some pretty good resistance. 4hr also has divergence with a lower high on MACD and higher high on price.
The 1 hr seems to be in a TC also......

SL 1.1425, 1st TP 1.306, 2nd TP around 1.1226 (will review)

Closed out this position for +20 pips as not liking it. Too many buyers waiting around the 1.1350 zone.

Did catch 100 pips last night on the EURUSD long from 1.3940 - 1.4040. I posted charts at 7pmGMT time but the post didn't appear???
Very nice RB below -45 on MACD and alot of room to move back to the 20 sma.

A big thanks to you all for this great thread. I am taking on board your strat Phillip to see how it goes. You will see me alot from here on in posted my trades and results (Fingers crossed good ones!!)

GL all

There's the move back to the 21. Going to be very cautious here with Hurricane Ike and the oil markets with the influence on the $. Refineries are getting shut down which may weaken the $ and boost the EU which is very oversold. Looking for an increase in volatility...

I hope you traded this one Palmer!! If a EURUSD or GBPUSD is trending all the way into London close it seems to continue a 30-40 pips for the remainder of the night (7GMT-9GMT).

Hello everybody, experts, newbies, pro traders...

I almost blew my account during this week, I should really remember this week, coz my I-thought-it-was-great strategy failed unbelievably.

I just would love some one to me how is this MACD strategy doing this week.
(I know that there is no 100% working system, just curious)

Thanks All!

RISKING ONLY 2% to 3% OF YOUR CAPITAL IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS ON ANY STRATEGY OR YOU WILL DEFINITELY RUN OUT OF MONEY AND IT IS NOT THE STRATEGY THAT IS TAKING YOUR MONEY BUT BAD RISK MANAGEMENT.

As we have discussed in the thread that Gaps tend to be filled relatively shortly after it occur(1 to 5 candles) it can be usefull to trade especially when there is a strong trend present. During strong moves there tend to be gaps up and down. In the latest downmove there were 3 in the EurUsd and 150pips could have been made by only making the gap width the profit target but as we can see there was more pips to be made.

You know, before point 6. I know GU will go up definitely, it has been more and more flat, and divergency. I open my eye all the time to observe whether there is some long signal to enter, but it faced big trend line and I am hesitate, then it started its trend, I also don't dare to enter 5min, because I think it may resistant by the trend line, thus I let the big trend go with my open eyes.

I really think to a very large extent you have not studied this wonderfully great strategy yet. I had the same issues at first but after reassessing my risk management perspective and the heart of the system as well as the 13 lessons i have never regretted the effort. This system is almost near flawless and outstandingly great if you follow the rules.
Please in your own interest study the system well before reaching this conclusion.
Thanks a lot Phillip for this great system. Please may i know your assessment in terms of projection for next week as
