hello ,

please let me know how do you see the gbp\chf ...is there harmony ?

what I see is , respect of the fib zones (open gap) , respect of the 38 fibo , the only thing that it did not do by now is touching the fib expansions...

I'll apriciate your comments..

I like the way the first fib expansion overlaps the 610 fib zone around the 2.0100 level. Seems like a good target.

Place the fibo retracement first then following the same points place your fibo expansion in other words the second point of the fibo expansion should be at the 0.0 mark of the fibo retracement. I hope understood your question correctly to help

Check out the attached pic. That point (by the blue arrow) can be selected and dragged to wherever you like. By default (after drawing the expansions) that point is at the 50.0 level.

However, isn't that point supposed to be moved to the specific retracement level? Whether it be 50.0 or 38.2 or 61.8. On the pic I have moved it to the correct 61.8 level as you can see. Is this correct or should I leave it at the default level of 50.0?

Before you make this video the final one of the series, could you please give one example of a currency pair where the Fibo don't respect retracement and expansion. I seems to have difficulty finding a pair not respecting each other.

Here is my hacked versions of grAgol4 indicators. Thanks grAgol4.

For indicator fib_seq-2decimal_1 place a horizontal line on the high or low you want to use as point 0 and name the line 1 it will draw fib zones both above and below the horizontal line. With this indicator it is possible to change line thickness.

For indicator fib_seq-2decimal_2 place a horizontal line on chart and name it -2 if you want it to show fib zones below the line or name it 2 if you want it to show fib zones above the line. With this indicator it is possible to change line style. I use it to check if the retracement has harmony.

Change time frames to make the indicator update/show.

Both indicators have the ability to also show Gann Square of 9 levels at 360 degrees. It looks like the GBP may use these levels but not used much on other currencies.

Usage:

1) Place a Horizontal Line, name it "FIBO_ZONE";
2) Attach the indicator "FIBO_ZONE.mq4";
3) Parameters: (DEFAULT settings)

  1. start_level = 50 (Minium Fibo Seq Value)
  2. end_level = 3000 (Maxium Fibo Seq Value, no upper limitation)
  3. show_long = true (Show upper lines)
  4. show_short = true (Show lower lines)
  5. line_color = Red (Fibo Seq lines' color)
  6. line_width = 3 (Fibo Seq lines' width)
  7. fibo_line_name = "FIBO_ZONE" (Name of the Original Horizontal Line, used for more than one set of FIBO_ZONE.)

4) Press F8, in the Tab of "Common", Check "Show objects descriptions", the Fib Level labels will appear on the left;
5) De-attach the indicator "FIBO_ZONE.mq4", all fibo lines will be deleted, except for the original Horizontal Line, naming "FIBO_ZONE".

Simple tool, hope helpful.

Hey guys, you may or may not know the answer to this, but I downloaded Meta trader onto my new comp and I don't have the same currency pairs anymore (CadJpy, EurNzd, NzdChf, etc). Anyone know how I can get all those pairs again?

I worked this chart up before I viewed Mouteki's latest video which has nicely provided the reasoning for the current conjestion in this pair which is at present bouncing between the 7650 resistance and support off the 50% line in the green fib around the 7500 level.

This morning the rally stalled at the gold fib 50% level at 7572 and dropped back to the lower green APF line - actually a 61.8% retrace of the small rally.

Well I guess this is where it pays to watch the fundementals....the break down in the 9pm candle - 5pm edt - was caused by the Bank of NZ reducing their interest rate from 8.00% to 7.50%

The attempted rally had already failed, first at the gold 50% and then at the 61.8% level and the early break of the .7524 support could have let the nimble trade take a sell.

However, lets see what the European traders make of this extra -greater than expected - 0.25% reduction - will price continue to move lower to break the green 7330 support line or will this area be confirmed as support for a move north? TWT

Open your Market Watch window (click on the icon with the red & green arrows) and right click on the Symbol Column and select Show All from the drop down menu http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Select the Market watch tab (which is directly under the word Insert).

right click in the market watch column (where some currency pairs are displayed) and in the drop down menu select "Show All"

That should work

Hey Mouteki I should have mentioned this earlier to make it easier for you, in Metatrader Go up to the Menu bar and click Tools then select Options [ or press Ctrl-O ]

Go to the Objects Tab and check Show Properties After Creation. Then the Fib properties box will show up after you place it on the chart and you can change the colour easily.

Could someone please take a look at this chart for me and clarify that expansion point placement. By default it is at 50.0 level (even though on the attached chart I have specifically placed it at the 61.8 level, as that is the retracement point) but aren't u supposed to move it to the retracement point, which could be 38.2 or 61.8?
