A very nice pattern for the short for 10 pips. (3 little sisters), but needed to wait for the macd confirmation.

My entry was above the pivot line, on the gbp futures. Mkain, is that your standard entry technique?

Yes, it is (pattern + powerbar).
I use fibonacci just after long runs with small/without pullback.
If you don't understand what I mean, I could post some charts later.

Always demo first.... You need to get comfortable with the system and its rules. If one person is successful with the system, it does not mean you will.

Hi Blackmovie

I did start using a demo account first when I started with this system. Did that for about 4-6 months. I don't really believe in paper trading this system. Rather open a demo acoount and get the feel for the market.

After the demo period I've used my live mini account trading only 0.01 lots to get use to trade with real money. After about 1 year, I changed my money management to risk 0.15% of my capital per trade meaning I changed to trade 0.2 lots live. That is currently how I am trading.

I tend to open a standard account next year meaning it took me more than 2 years to get the necessary confidence with this system. I am trading forex now since 2002 and I am getting successful after coming across Phillip's approach to this strange but great market.

My only piece of advice can be found in my signature - my triage of trading.

Thanks, I did survive it and I even enjoyed it (afterwards - not during the cycling). My legs are rather stiff but luckily I do go to the gym every morning around 06H00. My wife and I did this trip because it was our friend's (with a rare type of cancer) dream to do that trip and he is an experienced cyclist. My wife and I are novices. WOW, what an experience.

My previous message was from Dubai airport where I quickly made 24pips on the 3 little sisters on cable (around 05:01gmt - well defined) and eur (around 04:50gmt - not well defined). Both 3rd sisters were above the 50MA but I saw the Sunday opening gap and went for it.

I cannot post the charts because I do struggle to save and edit pictures on my small laptop - Asus EeePC 8.9'. But it is very nice and small to travel with.

Hopefully we can have some interactions again from this week - I saw people are still trading this system, nice to see. Just waiting now for my final leg (of 4 legs) of flights but I see there is nothing really going on on my 3 pairs right now.

Yes, I'm back and still trading - as you can see.

Very interesting bicycle trip through the 3 countries - however I don't think I want to do that again. Rather do another Comrades marathon (about 90km marathon (running) in South Africa between Pietermaritzburg and Durban to be done in 12h).

I hope the pips are treating you well!!!

I was trying for the 3 little sister, but I got stopped out

Edit: Any comment on my trade or advise would be greatly appreciated. Was I too early? I was looking at golfers trade and it looked like a similar entry. Some trades I know just to bad, but if I can improve I always want to

Yes, we need to post losses and this was one of mine:

Positive signs:
Nice setup - Church to the right
Power candle
TC
Above pivot line
Support found on 10MA

Negative signs:
Church building already 9 candles long - price is losing momentum. Needs to move withinh 5-6candles
Small support line was broken
Too late in the day
