Just a trading game and some thoughts

First things First

PLEASE DON'T FOLLOW THIS AS I WILL NOT BE COACHING ON THIS AT THIS TIME

I will share and talk about the places my mind and other traders minds go.

This is just a game I'm playing with two mates for the next few weeks and when it works maybe even longer.

At the moment I will be only posting my results.

I have opened this account purely to play this game so please don't get concerned about the monies or the leverage (which many will consider excessive).

I use to be a fundamental trader but am now a TA trader who takes notice of when the news releases are but no notice of the news, so in other words just the time the news is released.

The system that I will be using here is based purely around TA and is designed to be aggressive with entries and exits as well as MM.

The reason for the game is that my father told me that it can't be done so I'm going to see if it can be.

I will start trading with mini contracts with the aim to be trading standard contracts within a week and also see how long it takes to get to a million dollars, and when the target is reached it will be given to a friend to help with his business.

So trading 1 mini contract costing approximately $21.19 with a return profit of $1 per pip to start with.

Every 27-8 pips will compound by doubling the contract size, this I believe is around 4.7% per pip so I'm told. The leverage I have been told is around 940:1, but that doesn't concern me.

The system that I will be using (which maybe modified during this live testing), has been tested in paper and demo and has performed really well, so this is a record for live trading and am posting here to keep myself intentional with the trading.

This system is a scalping system that I have used to position trade with good results.

Will start trading this on Monday the 8th of Sept.

Also will post conversations I have with my mental welbeing coach who will be coaching me through the whole journey.

Basically yes

Here are the results of my discussion with my coach (mental well being coach).

This is the best way that I can explain how the conversation went.

There are three stages most people go through in life and it was explained to me in these terms, so if you don't understand what I am talking about let me know and I'll see if I can explain it better.

First stage is that we go through the child stage always doing what our parents want and clinging to them (submissive).

Second stage is the teenager, at this stage we become independent of our parents and think for ourselves, making up our own minds and a lot of the time making sure we do whatever the opposite is of what our parents advise us to do (known as rebellious teenager).

Third stage is we become adults, this is where we think with a clear head and make choices on logic and emotional feelings and as adults we tend to respond to things instead of reacting to things.

So basically when we are talking about trading, you can ask yourself one question "Who is Trading, the submissive child, the rebellious teenager or the adult".

The level of trading will improve the more one can recognise who is trading; this is why we talked about responding to the market instead of reacting to the market.

The aim is to become the adult while trading as the adult will return more profit consistently.

If one finds himself getting in too late then one is probably trading from the distinctions (learning’s) of the submissive child.

If one is getting in too early or at random with a feeling of I'll show you who's boss type of attitude then one is probably trading from the distinctions (learning’s) of the rebellious teenager.

If one is making consistent profitable trades with a relaxed and easy going attitude then one is probably trading from the distinctions (learning’s) of the adult.

The key is to recognise where one is at, at any given time and then moving into the area that one need to be in. "

Sorry People had a confronting day at the office (owning your own company can be a pain in the rear end sometimes).

Anyway while in the meetings I had the charts up and was getting frustrated with not being able to trade and then had an idea with the system and once implemented was able to pin point entries with the maximun draw down being 7 pips and in the space of few hours demo traded a couple of 50 point trades and a 32 point trade and a 28 point trade.

So in the morning after I get some sleep from a hellish day I will be ready to put in a solid day just trading with no business interference.

Been taking a break for a while to clear head/arteries. Been doing a bit of acupuncture - do I recall you saying you were doing a bit of that, or am I imagining it?

Hey Mate long time no see,

Yeah started a new program with a couple of students, they seem to be getting heaps out of it. When it works I'll be looking to expand it into other countries so get on trading and send me your results.

The accupunture works a treat my last visit was on Monday for a bunged up knee, its starting to look normal after being double the size.

The results so far have been fantastic and will post them here when I have got the rest of the team performing well, its just a little different to what I taught you, but the leverage we get with it is fantastic.

Will have to come over and see a soccer (football) game with you.

The last few weeks have been really busy, talking with a couple of organizations in the US that want our services but will let you know how that goes when the paperwork is signed.
