Thank goodness you didn't hold onto it longer. 3% is not so bad Tiki. The GBPJPY beast has bitten me many times too.

I will tell you something..... it was not easy.... I still do not know what I will do.... I seriously am close to stopping with the journal.... its great fun when you win.... and then.... it is hard enough to lose.... you have no idea how hard it is to come out and tell eveyone.... but if I do not... there would be no point to the journal...

These days I am considering to quit forex and go back to making T-Shirts..

Sorry to here about your losses lately, maybe you would reconsider my simple system again for awhile.
Also one thing I have noticed is that your trades seem to be consistently against the trend, though they have shown some success it is extremely counter productive.

I am thinking about your simple system...... yes.... I always seem to go against the trend.... I am only too well aware of it... I have tried my best to change... I seem not able to.... so truthfully my idea is to find a way to trade where trend is not so mimportant... TT5 is ok for that as long as I follow the rules... and TT5 does not work in trending times... I said that from the beginning... but I continued to trade anyway.... now I paid the price...

For some reason I have never been able to get on a trend.... in four years... I think I never succeeded once... this is becuase the forex Gods are against me... as soon as I jump in.... the trend will change.... that is a fact.. I can prove it any time you like !!! So I must find my way to outsmart the forex Gods...

what do you do in order to catch a trend?

-are you running after it and the trend is speeding up even more and you are not able to catch it?

-are you waiting at the corner with a lasso and eithet it never comes or if goes by you that fast that you start running again after it

-are you gazing at the always amazing (naked or full of indicators) charts, hoping that subconsciously your brain will recognize the trend?

Now, this is not a making-fun-of-you reply back, since i'm also in a sinking boat (it's mine, not yours!!!) and i have yet to catch a trend...aahh... for the past 7 years (call it a sloww learner), but make ask yourself what DO YOU DO TO CATCH A TREND?
i'm pretty sure it will be a day when the trend will come to us, even if it's flat, and we will know and play nicely with it...will say something like...ya, this looks like a weekly flat trend... it may change a bit in the future.

Best to you and scale down your MM 10 or 100 times till you start making money (already did that)

I took profit on EUR short trade from monthly divergence today

I consider that price has now effectively hit the 62 ema on the monthly charts....

This divergence has developed and panned out over the last few months...

Added 7% to what was left of my account...

I still find the EUR / USD divergence still valid.... I have gone short again at 1.3004... target 1.2250... the 150 ema....

This is a trade based on monthly charts.... I don't expect target hit so soon...

DON'T ANYONE EVEN TRY TO THINK I HAVE LOST YET !!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you still trading tt5? What struck me about that system was you were making money and then you got hit... I wondered if you have gone over all your TT5 trades and do some quick anaylsis to determine better MM rules?

I will continue soon with TT5....

Lets all be clear about one thing... I got hit because of myself.... not because of something wrong with the system.... I refuse to get out when I knew I should have... so I paid the price.... forex is most about disiplin... not about luck or always trading the right thing at the right time.. there is nothing wrong with losing... I expect to lose.... but I found out I still cannot control myself..... my loss was my own fault... not fault of the system....

Yes I am thinking of other things to add to TT5... not sure yet....

long time no see and tiki its been awhile since I have been here also, it is good to "see" you both.

Tiki its too bad none of us can trade live like we do in demo or you could have that 70K in no time.

I entered a demo contest and turned 10K into 90K in 2 weeks time......now could I do this with a live account? LOLOL ya right

it was worth $175 cash and $250 live account so free money is always a good thing.
