That would be great if we could do another one in a few weeks or whenever.
I also have Camtasia and will try and record it.

small inside candle just below Intraday Pivot, I was ready to short the low break, and took it at 1.8598 right after 8:30am US news moved price down. Max move was 28 pips, and I closed with 15 after some quick back and forth around 1.8580.

Bo, can you guide me to what I need to do to run vhands after I installed the vhands files. I put them in "experts" = vhandstrade.mq4, "indicators" = vhistory.mq4 + vterminal.mq4, and "include" = visualtestingtools.mq4. Thanks

There is a whole thread dedicated to vhands now, in the Beginner Q&A forums I think, you may have better instructions there.

Good move, we may experience some more chop action now.
bo, as a general rule when you catch dips in an uptrend you let it dip down to support levels that are tested and rejected then buy on the rebound. Is a dip down to the pivot support a stronger rebound strength wise as opposed to a dip down to the long support then rebounding up. Does this matter or do I have it backwards. Thanks

It goes like this, the less it retraces on itself in a tredning move the stronger the trending move is. Its one of the reasons that when you get more than a 61.8 retracement from one day to the next is a good indication of lost momentum, the very same as when a trending move fails to reach a 138.2 extention is a sign of lost momentum.
One of the things you can do is once an Intradays levels are tested, the price action or reaction to those levels is where you would want to look for your entry's and possible set your buy or sell stop whichever the case may be. The other option is wait for a candle to open past the Long or Short levels but in todays market conditions even that can be as risky as selling or buying from the actual levels themselves.
I took a short trade on the opening of the current candle, the previous candle failed to break thru the Intraday short, so i thought it was bearish, had a SL just above the Intraday Pivot, 4700, it took out my SL in no time..

Bo, I saw where galaxy mom and the other traders take about the "railroad" track candle formation. I tried to look it up, but couldn't find it. It seems pretty common formation. Can you or the other traders enlighten me as to what it means in a general sense? I'm just curious about it. Thanks

Railroad tracks are 2 candles with equal lengths 1 bullish the other bearish or vise versa, its a signal of a possible reversal.

If yes, when did you get in? I had a swing fib between 1.8636 and 1.8537 and a buy stop at 1.8641 but take profit at 1.8672, but since
I was not confident ( I lost some trades between yesterday and today) I closed my trade with 14 positive and then just saw the market hitting my planned profit .

What would make you keep my trade opened? What gives you the confidence to wait? I think this is my main problem, I'm still really irregular on this part.

No I didnt ride this up move, I got the short earlier today and didnt enter any others. Your just going to have to start trusting it, it will come with the more experience you gain.

Hi, Bo

It my first time to use Buy stop, Please give some comments. I hope my entry level is correct.

1) EURUSD

When I saw the price break Swing Long and next candle break intraday pivot level, I expected the price to break intraday Long, and I placed buy stop on 1.4715 just above intraday level as blue arrow. Good luck today on profit in 69 pips now.

2) GBPUSD

When I saw the price with long tail in lower side showed by blue arrow cosed above swing long, I felt there are a lot of buy power, and I placed buy stop on 1.8654 as red arrow to expect the price to break intraday long and go up. Good Luck for profit in 19 pips now.

long 1.8664, candle close above previous intraday long and candle highs. Only for 5 pips, I just didn't feel comfortable to long this late in the day and after that kind of slice through the resistance levels.

That should be a good move. Since we are in such a strong downtrend, it is probably wise to only do long scalps. I will be waiting for that next big short movement.

I wouldnt enter now it will need to retrace and bounce from the Intraday levels then it may provide another entry, its too late today so it may be during the London session.

Those would be correct point to enter you can even tighten the entry up some by using the previous candle highs to set your stop entry's, its just that its late in the day and i would not enter any more until the Franfurt/London sessions come around again.
