Yeah, I was trying to check out with here but didnt work. I guess that guy only allows you to look but no touching.

It's wierd, actually. UK's inflation target is centered at 2% ranging ±1%. Last year, CPI printed 3.1% and BOE's chairman had to get on his knees and write a letter to the government, explaining.

With today's 4.4% his nose must be bleeding

Thanks Ash. My expertise allows me nothing but pure HTML pages, so there is no database behind, flash movies, etc. making it faster.

I was afraid about the pages' sizes (the content pages are 1,000 pix wide), and no one complained. So I guess it's working out fine.

The idea was to make it more like an online magazine rather than the boring "about us, products, contact us"....

There are a few things yet to be arranged, but I guess it will be launched still this week.

and with house prices in freefall - which they would dispute - it's gonna get a lot worse for uk economy. Mervyn has himself to blame: far too generous at cutting rates at the height of the housing boom.

No problem, too bad I can't understand what is written but from what I can gather, it is very informative. I saw a button for exercises which I happen to stumble upon by accident. Is it hidden or easily accessible for people to find?

Letter of Explanation
King will have to write his third letter of explanation to the government unless inflation slows to 3 percent in August, which would require an unprecedented drop in consumer prices.

The letter, setting out how he would return inflation to target, is required under rules established when the bank won rate-setting independence in 1997.
