I think it's more of a "pips have no meaning" debate if you ask me
Sort of like how an object is full of emptiness.
Pips do have meaning even though they are empty and void of existence and are not really pips at all. They are a measurement of price movement which is also emptiness and void of existence. Because it has no shape or form and is empty and voided from existence does not mean it does not exist or have function or meaning. The key to happiness and enlightenment to understand this fundamentally technical understanding of pips and price movement and be one with the empty universe and all that is in it.

Watching Dow 11700 like a hawk. Going above that point now would simply be too ridiculous

May 2006: Dow FAILS to penetrate 11700:
EURUSD < 1.3
Crude oil < $75
October 2006: Dow raise above the 11700 level:
EURUSD < 1.28
Crude oil < $60
Fast Forward to present time:
August 2008: Dow penetrates the 11700 level:
EURUSD > 1.5
Crude > $115
...and they say it's up on declining oil prices and a strong dollar???
I say we're far away from that! No reason whatsoever to rise on oil or dollars. We're back to the "glorious" U.S. economy...
The U.S. stock market looks seriously overvalued at the moment.

Okay, I waited until late Friday to do that, and after all the whinning and accounts killing spree, margin calls thunderstorms, I'm going to reveal what was behind the whole dollar move since Asia session.
It goes to show you how amateur you all are, despite the presumption, arrogance and even the total lack of commitment of some members, initiating happy hour some 6 hours before Friday kicks in.

Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards admitted to an extra-marital affair Friday. ABC News’s “Nightline” will air the exclusive interview tonight.
In the interview, Edwards says he lied repeatedly about the affair with a 44-year-old woman while his wife struggled with cancer. He denied he is the father of the woman's child as reported by The National Enquirer, which broke the story.
The woman, Rielle Hunter, had run a firm that directed four Web videos for Edwards’s political action committee in 2006. Hunter had a daughter on Feb. 26, 2008. She did not put a father’s name on the birth certificate filed in California, according to the Associated Press. Andrew Young, an aide to Edwards, has claimed to be the father.
Edwards came in second in the Iowa caucus behind Barack Obamaand ahead of Hillary Clinton. He withdrew his candidacy in January after finishing third in the South Carolina primary, and he endorsed Obama in May.
