DIY is better, when the trade is over, just deleate the lines and that's it.
The useful thing would be somehow to translate the moves of eurchf into the moves of eurusd and usdchf in pips so one could leave limit and stop orders without beeing glued to the charts 24x5, but I don't know how to do it - they are not correlated 100%.

Guys, sorry for messing a trend and posting so much beeing a new person here, but beeing a trend trader for about 8 years now, I have difficulty going against the trend. Mentality is not easy to change, so my posts are mostly to bee critisized and be in sync with what your reasonings are.

Hmm... not too sure, I think it would be beneficial for everyone, at least you would see the movement on the daily basis and see where you are... just my opinon, if there is anyone - swingman - not seem him in ages, then this would be great.

I waited a little bit as Spieler suggest some earlier post , so I entered at -0.30% instead -0.25% of yesterday close. Now we have to manage at best this first lot

pending orders: eur/usd - longs outweight shorts until 1.5300, at 1.5300 a real biggy is waiting.
gbp/usd - in the 1.0600/1.0700 shorts outweight longs.
eur/chf from now until 1.6250 - all buys.

I am in at 1.6281 - 10 pips better than my -.25% line as of today. Actually I believe I bought not far away from 0.0% line for the next forex day. So, naturally the next -.25% will be my -.50% for a next leg UP.

Exited my original short position earlier today for a profit at EUR/CHF 1.6285, 5 pips short of my target. Should have had more patience as it continued down after that. Entered long at 1.6280.

Well,

read this thread fully and then you will understand what we and spieler are talking about!

This trading system is quite different from the other ones, so it take a little time to study it, and put it into work!

so do you homework first!

UPDATE:
Well i am still in from yesterday -0,25% decorrelation, but it seems to be heading lower so we will see how it goes... I hope to get out of this one before the week end... we will see...

So waiting +0.25 or -0.25% to take a position.

Not a problem to be overweek end with a hedge position dont worry and you get the swap.

big moove on euros but it does not impact a lot our strategy .
That is rather good not to be in a hurry with this huge moove better than to be long eur/usd outright lowering stops and thinking ( prying more realistic) euro to stop dipping

The 1.5300 level on Euro had me concerned, so when Euro dropped below that level I unwound my position at a loss (and shorted the Euro).

Aren't we a little bit low? I thought that in such a case we should wait more before putting on a short position, or am I wrong? Or do you consider that right now we are well correlated?

And another question, with an $10,000 account, what would be the optimal lot size? 16,000 EURUSD and 25,000 USDCHF, or more?

I dont think we are that low and try to not think too much. Just think after a big trend and that is not the case.

with 10K usd 16000eur/usd and 24000 is ok

Ratio is now 1 vs 1.5 and not 1.6 because euro/usd close to 1.50

Bro boeing driver,yesterday(7 aug 08 23.00gmt) i saw the eur/chf divergence drop at -0.39.Do you make the entry?Is it should long in this situation?
