BTW: Short the Kiwi as well ... easy +100 pips by NY Open. Great news for the Kiwi (Better than Aussie) and its given back its gains already. I think we will see more rate cuts for AUD and NZD no doubt about it.

BTW: I officially have shutdown Metatrader for now ... trading the news and following DJIA/OIL is so much easier these days.

Technical indicators are not going to help this pair. The USD is getting stronger and only when the USD starts to weaken again will this pair see some light of day.
I'm selling the usd on strength. I think USD will make a recovery, but U-shaped, not V-shaped.

Not always true. Just last week the EUR had some great news and it spiked 100+ pips and it returned all the gains in less than 15 mins and headed south.

Yes, but it was coming from 1.6 to 1.54, (at least I think 1.54 is bottom), and news won't change where it wants to go. Now it's difference prices.

Well we shall see, my guess is that this wants to see 90 first and then head back up, but I 'm probably wrong.

It could happen, and likely will soon, but I would 'like' a rally to .95 first. usd/cad, usd/jpy, gbp/usd and usd/chf are at some significant levels of resistance and could start a rally

What about OIL? It's in the BEAR MARKET now (dropping more than 20% from the last peak)

Other commodity still holding on less than 20% drop.

If OIL keep on falling... should than drag GOLD and other commodity with it?

What up dude ... Ya I agree a correction to the recent dollar rally is certainley in order but why so soon? ... I don't think we will see this until Mid September - Beg Oct time frame ... WHY?

OIL ... Look at Sept-Nov Historically and Voila ! (French)

I totally am with you on this bro ... Value your input tremendously but I see the US rally for at least the rest of Aug therefore im LONG USD on all the majors until October End. Then as we approach elections (historical as well) we will see a decline (always happens) then short the $hit out of it ... and once Barrack O'Bama takes his first dump in the whitehouse .... all hail the might green back cause it will be the currency of choice once again :-)


BTW: These are the useless centiments of so called Investment Bankers I work with (I'm in IT) at Royal Bank of Canada who think they have this al planned out. Personally so far they seem to be 100% on the mark ... they must know something this useless IT Project Manager knows.

I dont like to think this way, but oil is probably going to 200$. I was looking at eur/cad, and I see huge fall, huge gain for cad, it's in the writing on the walls, so maybe that goes correlation with oil too.

[edit] eur/cad isn't correlated come to think of it, but anyway

Trading nowadays... so sensitive to variables. Correlation everywhere. Even when NYSE open... looking at DJI chart... you can guess whether USD gonna strengthen or weaken.
