Atm seems like wont survive at 93c much time.
i would at least wait for the RBA to come out tomorrow before i made any call on the aussie, personally i see 9000 as the next target, but i wont short it until this announcement is released.

I see tentative trendlines forming a slightly asc. channel in H1.

Once again, consolidation. Today has been a very slow day. Whenever price falls into whipsaw, these "hold" areas are formed. Price still inside a very bearish channel.

Channels as steep as this, usually break , but trend resumes after some consolidation.


We should see more action tomorrow with all the news coming up.

IMO, .93 may hold as base 1-2 more times, then it goes up or down.

Since you are Australian, what is your opinion as to the state of economy over there? Do you think if RBA should cut rates, raise rates or hold still, regardless of what they will actually do tomorrow?

i think they will hold rates for tomorrow, but i think we will see a cut in september or november, the recent rate rises over the past few years and the rise in petrol is starting to hit alot of aussies hard, and spending is on the decline, i think we will definently see a cut this year but not tomorrow, i think they will just hint at a future cut tomorrow.

The only thing that worries me about being long AUD right now is the hint of a future cut. Not sure how the market is going to price this.

No, I think the rate decision will either make it go down, and create a good buying opportunity, or make it go up and a good selling opportunity. Still long till later.

I think the long is close. Close to 925 / 92
