i'm going short at 1.9732 with a 150 pip t/p and I will use a trailing step of 30 pips.

lost 9 pips on this trade. It was a good set-up, but i actually missed the entry by one bar which really meant that the trade did not go far enough for me to move to b/e.

I am now waiting for a re-entry.

I am beginning to take on the belief that i should not trade on Monday London session. It just seems that everything that works every other day of the week falls apart on Monday.

I know that the big move is there somewhere yet, but i am only going to take one more loss today and i will try again tomorrow and consider not trading london on mondy night.

This trade lost me 12 pips. It was a good entry, just no market follow through at the moment.

up 30 pips in profit. I have now moved my s/l to b/e +1.

When I am up 60 pips i will lock in 30 pips.

Here is a chart of that trade. as is visible, all the rules were true for us to take this trade.

You talk about the smoothing line. on the JMA Slope, can u tell me what that is i dont seem to be able to find that anywhere.

Well....today was a mixed bag.

I had a few losers using the M5 system before work and then I would have had all winners while I was at easily making back any pips that I lost.

It is going to be real hard for me to keep accurate records, because on paper I lost today, but only because of my day job. I would have actually have come out today with about 6% in profit just on the eurusd. Work is really getting in the way of my real profit potential.

My trade with the gbpusd did well, but came back to hit my t/s. I also had an open trade with usdjpy which I opened at 107.79, which also hit my trailing stop. My eurjpy trade which i opened at 167.62 hit my t/s for a very nice profit indeed.

I did not mention the jpy trades because as of yet I was unsure as to whether to add them to my H1 strategy. Today's trades worked out really nice.

So, on paper I made 1% on the gbpusd trade, 1% on the usdjpy trade and 3% on my eurjpy trade from the H1 strategy. Combined with the fact that I would have made my money back from my early eurusd trades and then some would have made for a very profitable day.

It is hard to keep tract of actuall figures because I am not being fair to myself by not trading until I was in profit, but today on paper, I lost 2.5%. hoewever, without my day job I would have been up over 10%.

1. I swiched from Fisher_m11 to JMA Slope (34) for my eurusd system. Everything has been updated on the 1st post.

2. On my H1 trades, rather than to a 30 pip trailing step, I am considering only going to b/e +1 after 30 pips and leaving things alone. This is still trial and error as my gbpusd, usdjpy and my eurjpy trade all would still be open had I taken this approach. However, tomorrow may be completely different.

I will now add eurjpy and usdjpy to the pairs to trade using the H1 strategy.

These are some very good systems and will also try to see how the H1 especially works on other pairs as I only have time to trade one M5 system.

I went short on the eurjpy at 168.44 with a s/l of 34 pips (still experimenting with this number).

I also added a trailing stop of 30 pips as I am going to bed right now.

I am not sure how this will work out because the trade could have signalled because of low volitility, but we shall see.

This trade was placed based on my H1 strategy.

I set a sell stop order for usdjpy at 108.13 with a 33 pip s/l and a target of 120 pips.

I will move to b/e +1 after 30 pips.

Glad to fine a thread already going on the eurjpy..After reading most of the posts I am wondering if there are any real pro's reading this who are using inter-market relationship trading like myself to trade professionally. Seems most kids still are gut feelings-old hat indicators and a hope and a prayer traders. I am new to this site but with 10+ years with forex I paid my dues several years ago and I did pay up in full.

This trade was taken based on my H1 system. As you can see, all indicators have lined up to give me a sell signal.

There is some cable news tonight that may be worth trading. I will start evaluating where to put some stop orders.

I have cancelled my previous sell stop order on the gbpusd as all my trigger criteria were not met.

Locked in 20 pips of profit.
