I have a question...do you take a trade the midnight after midnight to see where the opening of the candle is?

I use Alpari MT4.. the daily candles begin for me at 5PM CST.... When I am thinking of using PA to make a trade I will likely wait for a new candle to begin.... but if I am looking at daily range or using the indicator... i will take the trade at the time an opportunity presents itself.... not necessarily at the open of a new candle.... You can pretty much assume that when I post the trades in my journal... that is when I took the trades... so you can look at the time stamp for the posts and get an idea of that too...

The basic rule I would use though is that when the daily candle changes... there must be at least 50 pips between price the the 5 ema... to go for 50 pips....
i was thinking (MAYBE TOO MUCH THINKING) about your answer and i have a doubt: it is necessary for instance that for a long the min of the current candle to be some pips distant of the EMA or only the current price?

It's closed. And you just left-click on the open 5ema and delete it.

I have made 2 TT5 Long Trades

GBP/USD LONG @ 1.9654 Target 50 pips to 1.9702

GBP/USD LONG @ 1.9618 Target 30 pips to 1.9748.... with double the risk...!!

yes i tried that already. The second ema can not be deleted on its own as it is part of the skyhook indicator that was posted. The only option available upon right clicking is to delete the whole indicator.

You can change the line color to black if that is your charts back round color as mine is... then you do not see the line....

Your resistance is found in this weekly chart. The consolidation to the left just before the long drop is where resistance will be. There will be no buyers here shortly even though the upward movement looks strong. I don't know you or how long you have been trading, but this is where the experienced traders take the inexperienced traders money. Many are buying here now and not paying attention to this weekly chart but price will start to retrace down to the 1.0305 level very shortly. This is the first time back to the consolidation level. Chances for this scenario to play out are extremely high. Watch price action for your best entry. My SL would be at 1.0714.

I hope you are right... I have been looking at that zone for days now.... but I am getting really nervous... with OIL prices falling so much, CAD is just going through the roof.... I hope it stops soon...
