In Tenfore cable is at Bid/Ask - 1.9499 / 1.9503 now, and fluctuating/moving.

everyone can said whatever the price now.

i can too....... oh the price now 1.9502, 1 hour ago 1.9999, 30 minutes ago 1.8282 ... etc etc......... u can make site that show chart whatever u like.

on my platform show 1.9503 but you know well that brokers didn't stop trade on same time ...

i know market will start on 1.9491

With all this talk of prices moving all over the place. Is there a single trader here that has access to trade after friday close and before Far East monday open? And please. not micro size.

I don't think anyone was claiming their feed was more accurate and better than the next one. We were only gathering information for analysis. Surely a good trader should be prepared for all eventualities and be ready to act accordingly if the market had indeed spiked.

I won't be shorting/going long until the market confirms direction on Monday.

Just my opinion.

If that spike did indeed exist I'd be PISSED because I went long near Friday's low and called 1 minute before the close of the market to close my position! I checked my broker InterbankFX and MT4 and I don't see the spike but we'll see what happens at the open.
If you can't produce some results and make some serious PIPS, YOU'RE FIRED!

the spike is over now. Now it went back to original price but yes there was a spike, maybe as soon after G7 is over

market already juz opened for trading on my platform with all pairs diff of about 10-20 points from close on friday..

If you look at the data feed companies, that is to say companies whose sole business it is to provide up-to-the-minute accurate price information of price is some or all markets (not just forex), then you find that they get their information from Tenfore Systems. Ultimately this seems to be the source of after hours trade data.

It is not a matter of whose data feed is better than whose. The brokers are not particularly reliable sources of data, the data feed providers are far more credible sources of information and THEY seem to get their information from one source in most cases. Thus while brokers may vary on prices the reference data feeds rarely do unless they have a glitch and they usually repair those immediately.

Ofcourse my bucket shop broker showed a spike like everyone else's feed. Learn how the FX market functions and you will dismiss a 300+ pip spike over the weekend as a non-event. This is my other post on the matter:
