163.70 would have been the perfect entry point yesterday from a conservative approach, we just hit it yesterday .

SO far we are waiting the recorrelation to go a little bit further

Should be good for today in my opinion

Would it be an advantage that when the trade is going the wrong way you're limited in how bad it can get because the EUR/USD position is going to be offsetting most of your losses on the USD/CHF position? While I've only been running a demo on this system for a couple weeks it seems that when the trade gets to +/- 1% from where you entered you could still close at less of a loss than if you were just long or short EUR/CHF.

NOt true spread is only 2 pip smore at the majority of broker.

long long the 2 paires pays a lot of interest compared to the eur/chf straight and volatility on the 2 because of the ratios at a moment T means different profit .

And the leg think with experience is great
imagine you want to go long the 2 paires because of a signal you enter first the bullish one , In your head you are ready to loose something like 2 pips on the other one in case
If it goes straight up you have a very nice outright long, then you can cut it or enter the second leg winning a lot of pips.
If you enter eur/chf directly ratio can goes against you and you get a very different position.
anyway that is my way of trading everybody free to trade eur/chf outright and find a sound MM with that.

Just closed 2nd lot since +0.25% was hit on EURCHF (1.6308) , some nice pips gained !

Just closed both lots for about +88 pips (closed first one too because didn't want to hold it over the weekend, also profit was enough). My broker uses average pricing, but I got used to it.

Using the yesterday close and a GMT+2 reference time, the -0.25% indication occurred at 1.6297, so I went long.
A good trade is when I Break Even. A great trade is when I Take Profit.

As far as I understand your positions shouldn't be taken since we are in a big uptrend since 29 Jul, you should wait for a ranging market before to enter again but Spieler of course can correct me if I'm wrong. ( I did something like you some weeks ago and had to quit with some loss But maybe you can be more lucky than me eheh)

I think I'll close too my first lot if EURCHF will hit today the 0% (1.6267) , maybe NFP later could help me

Closed my shorts at 1.6332. Long from E/C 1.6301 : E/U 1.5565, U/C 1.0476. Will TP at E/C 1.6340.

waiting 162.70 for remaining.

Always good for mental to be light before week end.

I would like to ask usual directionnal traders who are trading my system if they feel the difference in term of stress when they are in?

because stress is , according to me, responsible for the 90/10 ratios winners/loosers traders .

Hi Spieler!

I managed my trade about the same way you did, except that I closed the entire first lot at 1.6289. As for the stress, yes, absolutely, trading like this feels very liberating compared to directional trading. Thank you for showing us how to do it :-)

Yes this method is virtually stress-free , just once a time check the chart and bank profit or add other positions , I like it

Have been live trading your strategy now for 10 days and so far found it to be very low stress compaired to my normal breakout type trading. Looking forward to a bigger stress test when a large trending move comes. Thanks for all your excellent teaching.

Big trends occur 3/6 times per year and are usually not an issue.

You always get pull backs to externalise profits amd you are supposed to accumulate profits before by using this system.

I would like one these coming days so you could see how i deal with it.

If you dont overleverage at the beginning of your building position everything will be fine with a sound money management.

The system i explained here is not exactly the one i am using ( i said i have extra tools for fine tuning allowing me to add extras pips per trade making hundreds per year if not thousands but it is solid enough for becoming a winner trader.

Once you master it i am pretty sure everybody will find a way to enhance the winning probabilities based on adjustment in the MM.

Are you going to discuss some of those extra tools sometime? And when you say hundreds or thousands, do you mean pips or dollars?

i mean pips but per year but system discussed here is good one enough for 90% of traders not willing to spend 10 hours per days in front of the pc
