Hi Trader101. Good thread you have going here.

Something you may want to consider when trading GU on Fridays- going back to June of last year GBP/USD has been confirming the Thursday trend nearly 80% of the time- and the trend is strengthening.

In other words, if the Thursday daily candle is short- the Friday candle will remain in a short trend and vice versa for long, nearly all the time.

Example: For this past week, a trade opened short at the close of Thursday's candle and closed at the end of Friday's candle would have netted 84 pips.

Just something to think about.

On my post #332, I have mentioned that i will do an analysis of the next week trades that we will be making...I will make a sincere apologies that i will not do it..On the basis that I think I am not qualified to do such task, my limited knowledge as a newbie in trading may led you astray. Perhaps, some really professional traders that occasionally read our thread may consider this suggestions in their forum to help us newbie learn all the entricacies of trading in currencies. Again, i apologize.

I have a feeling that this will be a great week and i am really hoping we can make a record high for the week, i am setting my goal for the week to 300 pips with the two week of over 100, perhaps we could make more higher. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

84 easy pips- setting the up the trade and walking away. There were 129 pips on the entire move that were on the table if a trader stayed with his charts and closed on candle action.

Just using daily candles- opening the trade at the close of Thursday- open of Friday candle- usually 0000 GMT for most brokers.

Hello folks,
Good to see some eraly traders already.
This week I will reduce the number of trades that i will be making, i will limit my trades to just really profittable ones, because i am concern about the win-loss ratio. right now it is not good, though i am ahead in pips but the ratio is not really soemthing that i can be proud of. So an extra analysis, i have to do and really go for the big one and trash the smaller one. The task is to have a good ratio of wins-loss and also a good pip harvest. I hop ei can attain it this week.

I don't know about the other currencies but the pound opened several pips up from last week's close. I'm currently long on it now.

This week, I am adding 4 new cross-pair to my tradeable pairs.
EUR/GBP
EUR/CHF
CHF/JPY
AUD/JPY
I choosen these pairs because of their trending habit and the their spread is not that bad. I hoping that we could get some pips from them too.
