Looks like its trying for 169.55 for the new short term support. Almost at its all time high. Break above 170 soon?

Its approaching its all time high. Shot up 200-300 pips on Friday. Due for a retracement. I also tend to stick to the fundamentals which usually hurts me in the short term

I've seen it test this area many times. Every time it gets up here it ranges. Wed is triple interest so I've been trying to trade around it. Last week after Wed it crashed 200 pips. I'm wondering if it'll keep at this level until then.

EJ is up on the day after the Tokyo open 90 minutes ago -- an IB is
forming now. (On the hourly charts, an IB already happened, but it
was still down on the day, so I stayed out.)

Current high is 169.70 for the morning. Last close was 169.38

0600 GMT is a long way away...

my targets are :

1st 163.50
2nd 160.00

i see this pair down soon all we need is to wait. and if it did make it to 170 or 171 it would be amazing place to short more.

I would love to see this pair that low. If it breaks above 170 I'd be more than 50% suprised but with these crazy traders who knows.

Will you open a hedge at any point?

Does anyone see a correlation between the Japan stock market and the currency. Last couple weeks it seem when the stocks go up, currency goes down. Any opinions?

My view is almost identical. I' gonna short from 171 till 172.

Do you guys take in account the WED triple interest? With the carry trade active I would think the weekly pivot would be based on WED. Everyone in before WED, everyone out after WED. I've only been actively trading this pair the last 2-3 weeks so I haven't gotten a grip YET.

Mainly weekly pivot is based on the wed but after subprime avalanche everything is screw up

All pairs with the interest rate differential in their favor gains interest on a daily basis. On WED you receive triple interest! With a $1,000,000 you could bank $10,000-$15,000+ every WED You do the math.
