Trend Smasher - Profitable Mechanical Long Term Position Trading

Chf/jpy is now in green for 102pips. However, my Gbp/Chf is now in RED for 488pips and would have been stopped out at 2.291 if stoploss was set as per the rule of 2 x ATR. Stoplosses were not set as I am trading with 0.01lots with this strategy.

I will add 0.01lot to gbp/chf trade depending on whether I will have an uptick tomorrow.

Any thought guys? I am new to trading.

Damn GC - the redheaded step-child of the bunch lol

Both GJ & GC had entries this evening. GC is sitting right on the major trendline so we will have to watch for an extended trend-break. Wish us luck!!!!

Also, I am experimenting with covering to Breakeven at 1xATR. I haven't traded through conditions like this before so this is new to me (I think I have placed more trades this past two weeks than I have over the previous 4 or 5 months).... Good experience tho if we (& our systems) survive!!

currently have:
aud/usd at -107 pips
gbp/chf at -91 pips

hope they all go up

If it makes you feel better, gbp/chf is forming a bullish gartley on the daily. I am in this trade too. Aud/usd is forming a bullish pattern on the 4hr too. I am long on that pair as well.

Up we go..

Is this the end of the dump?? Let's see what the next few days/next week bring us..

Currently have positions open in AUDUSD, GBPJPY (x3), CHFJPY, EURAUD (x2) and GBPCHF (x2)

Daemin, What has been happening with trend smasher on your end?? I have not talked to you in ages..

The markets still aren't suitable for this system. Good to discover this possibly fatal flaw now I wasn't expected the strength of the correlation between all of the pairs (the original 3 pairs were chosen due to their having minimal correlation - altho lately they all seem to act in unison).

In the meantime, I am trading support/resistance breakouts with good success. It's funny how I started simple, got complicated (tons of indicators, etc) and am now back to simple lol... I think the sexy lure of most of the platforms out there with all of their colourful flashing lights & indicators are definitely counter-productive to one's trading education.
