Good calls on AU & NU GHOUS! I cannot trade AUDCHF on my brokers platform so I have no idea how that one turned out. I just wanted to give credit where it is due. I'll be watching you. I need as much knowledge and trading wisdom as I can get. Best regards.

Ok here are a few more setups worth considering, these are setups on daily and above only...

setup 1)

AUD/CHF dual pin bar setup on the daily...(if you trade it)



ok so what's so interesting here? two consecutive pin bars on the daily chart telling us all that the price is not being able to penetrate 0.99-0.9920 region. as it is price has been squeezed into a triangle and the price is ranging between trendlines and PPZs. what's best abt this setup in my opinion is that even if the price is rejected by the support line a trade early on Monday will still give you a few pips or if you're an aggressive trader you might get out with a breakeven i.e there is space avaiable for your trade to breath some air, anf ofcaorse if the triangle breaks we enjoy the ride down...


setup 2) AUD/USD pin bar on the weekly:



it can clearly be seen that the price is caught up ina nice rising wedge and is signaling a bearish reversal the question is when will the wedge breakout, the answer might just have been given, this last week Pin touching the resistance line and rebounding superbly may be a great indication of a bearish move.


setup 3)

NZD/USD weekly pin bar:



ok another nice setup in my opinion, the last bearish run has just given another indication of it's continuation as the 0.76 region holds the price! as it is a trade off the weekly and since the right eye has yet to be formed (if it does) one has to wait for a bearish confirmation on a lower tf such as the daily which might be a strong move to coincide with this lovely pin

Did you take this short on EJ? If so, you are in the money congrats. If not and you are waiting for the break at 169.08 it just touched. This one may deliver the goods for you depending on the close of this hourly bar. While I still take the stance that the "PB" on the daily on 7.21.2008 is a crappy example of a PB. I do wish you well on your trade. Best of trading to you.

I shorted the AUD/US based on the weekly chart and chickened out with 80 pips after reading some comments on the thread advising of strong resistance on the daily. Should have trusted my trading system and stayed in but I'm a newbie so I tend to listen more to the experts . I guess my confidence level will be higher after a few more wins like these.

Good point, Scott, thank you; though so far it would be a nice trade if taken, anyways, a missed opportunity is not the worst possible thing that could happen

first test of a H&S, 38,2 FIB and almost at the 150 EMA. Maybe will form a PB?

Is anyone taking a short on the daily PB on the EUR/JPY? It looks to have failed once again....we in for another fall?

do not miss the point that a fall did not result from that first pin bar to the north and the very next candle was another pin bar saying up, and lol now there is one more saying it's going down again, somewhat the case of Nzd/usd with PB's all around, to me it's cery simple, when the price is not going down and not going up then where is it heading?? i thus stay out of such situations i may have missed a the Nu short but i am glad to be able to shun that tempting feeling to go against my rules.

when i first got off to a start my worst enemy were the forums, i know it sounds stupid but really there was no toher source i got more losses from, in that confusion period where i tried literraly 8 trading system in a period of 2 months i often noticed that many a times the system and my persoanl analysis held true then the person who speaks as the best trader in the world here in the forum, for example i take a long on Gu and smile when i say what a good trade i am in.."what timing! Superb!" then i log on to the Gu forum here and see that almost a dozen ppl are taking shorts and are confident that the thing is going down...DUH! am i in wrong! Oh damn! better get out at -20 than wait for it to get -100" and guess what? 2 hours later i have my head on my palms to see it sky rocket!

i eliminated the problem by drinking the bitter drug and leaving the forums altogather for a few months to strenghthen my trading skills first and gain some onfidence...

Hi Kiss fan, thankyou for your kind words, i am really no expert atall, just started trading a few months back i am just trying to learn as much as possible too...but i advide you not to take my signals, i hate giving/taking signals, the trades i post are in no way any signal to anybody just another analysis of where i think the price is going.

i've had that same idea since 21051 ... but been in and out of it like a yo-yo string (luckily ... and i do mean luckily, i'm positive, not negative). so ... i'm out of it again ... and watching for it to break .84 to jump back in again. i am a real turkey sometimes!!

Here is a perfect PA setup for the Au short all the wa down breaking the rising wedge to head for 0.95 as the next major stop...

Although i am done for the week it was a great trade to be taken and i would'nt have hesitated if i wuld be going along like this week for the entire next week, Going through the guest page on Jim's PF i saw his great idea on a trading plan, and will be looking forward to backtest it starting from next week, i am done with the layout on my wordpad page and i am all set for next week!

the reason i liked it is that i felt this is the only thing lacking in my trading at the moment, a proper set out plan that helps me to make just enough pips without having to jump in every trade that "looks like going somewhere".
