İf you use the Slope Direction Line indicator and you will have very similar results with mine.MA's are complete leading indicators.You can detect the current market situation with MA slopes,you can use them as support and resistance(5,10,20,50,100,200 on daily charts), you can set your entry exit places based on crosses or without crosses etc..I hope I have been helpful.

Hi Mystified,

I got AFIRMA indicator from the link but I don't get the same result when displaying on my charts. What are the settings for both lines?

Hi there, are you sure AFIRMA doesn't repaint? It does ... there was a cross 3 hours from opening on monday on USDGBP and then it disappeared (H1)

Hello nanningbob, it has long been nothing more going on in this thread. Is that what you write here is still current? My English is not so good and maybe I do not understand every technical term correctly: I have a picture attached to the LWMA3 in H1 timeframe. What do you think, when to buy / sell after the H1 candle closes above / below the MA (of course taking into account the current trends as well as the resistances / supports)?

I still use Daily Pivots and Weely Pivots on my screen. I dont use this MA cross and my STO numbers are different but same concept. I like trading the crosses back into the trend on the daily pivot. That is my most popular trade.

Hello and many thanks for the answer! Would you tell me your Stochastics settings and the settings for the MA's? Have I understood this correctly: You use the MA Cross in context with a pullback to the Daily Pivots?
