Look at somee of my TT5 trades.... they started going the wrong way... and though I too have a long ways to go... now I can look at charts or PA and have an idea what might happen... so I let some of my trades go against me... because I thought they might come back my way... I did not think that would happen for luck... I could see something and had a reason to think as I did... a year ago or so.... I was unable to do that... I would have stood by in horror seeing my trades go against me.... then in a panic I would have closed them out, just in time to see them come back and would have been winners...

There is a lot to learn...
Yup! Much, much more to learn for this beginner. Agreed. There will also be losses. I've never lived in any diminsion that convinced me that I would not make a trade that would'nt go my way or have I stated that I could trade correctly every time. I know that losses will happen. No one has told me that they are right 100% of the time. I also understand that some of the most successful traders are right as little as 20% of the time. I must think about losing the way I think about losing. It drives me to improve. It's goofy I understand but I also try to keep terms like game out of my thought process and use terms like business when it comes to trading. Losing as far as I'm concerned is not going to be acceptable. Will it happen to me? Yes. If I lose money in my other business, it is equally unacceptable, so I make adjustments so that it does'nt happen again. This is my way of preserving my mindset of an overall success in trading. Some people see it differently. That's fine. They are not wrong. I'm not necessarily right. Good to hear from you Frank. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Sometimes writing this stuff down and then going back over my journal a month later helps me to sort things out. Hope all is well with you and you are staying busy. Best regards.

Yeah I saw that. It has a pin bar yesterday showing long. Today another pin bar at the same PPZ which is also an inside bar and just maybe a confirmation of long. Weird stuff man!

You would think your student would know how you trade by now. I just don't get it! I am really amazed. I look at some of your trades, for example those on 7/3 and I see huge BEARISH candles and you made pips LONG! Is that some kind of genius trading that isn't teachable?

I just closed that same trade again for 17 more. This thing is in a real tight range. I'm just watching the 1 hr chart on Oanda.

I saw you take that TT5 trade this morning Tiki. I tried to out TT5 you and get in lower, which would have given me TWO nice long trades on cable. That trade did not execute for me today. I'll take the one I received. For you to get even pips with ole' KISSFan by the end of the year would make me extremely happy as long as I get my count to around 18,000 or so. Of, course my first realistic goal is just simply to be profitable for 1 full year. Once I get a full year under my belt with plus money, I'll be in a better state of mind to acheive my longer term trading goals. Nice call on that trade friend! Hope many more opportunities head your way soon!

OK. I'll start publishing them again next week as I have more time. But seriously, try this on your Oanda demo acct. Place the trade on the opposite side of me. TP at 20 Pips and use a 20 Pip SL. Let's see how that goes.

Ok I'll do it but just to show you that it just SEEMS like you go negative everytime at first but I don't think you really are. But it could be a fun expirement.
