Another possible solution: Load any one of the Navigator (press Ctrl-N), Market Watch (Ctrl-M) or Data Window (Ctrl-D), and drag its right hand edge to widen it sufficiently to take up space on the LHS of the screen. Then press the End key to have only the latest bars showing.
If you're wanting to rescale the chart vertically, so that you can see more definition in the blue area of your chart, you can use the "Scale Fix" option. Press F8, then select the Common tab, and check Scale Fix ON (and type starting values if you wish). Then you can adjust the vertical scale by dragging the mouse (left button held down) in the scale area in the RHS of the screen, and/or move the chart up/down by dragging the mouse in the main chart area. A scroll bar also appears on the vertical axis separator line (RHS of screen) which you can drag up and down to move the chart up/down. Experiment to discover how all this works. From the MT4 on-line help:
Scale fix One to One — fix the chart scale as "one to one" (the size of one pip of the vertical axis in pixels is equal to the distance between the bars axes in pixels). At that, the "Scale fix" option will be enabled automatically, and a scroll bar will appear at the right side of the window that allows to move the chart vertically. This mode is necessary for precise constructions. Scale fix — fix the current chart scale. If the scale has not been fixed, the chart will be automatically scaled vertically. This option disables automatic scaling and fixes the current scale. When this option is selected, the fields of additional scaling parameters "Fixed maximum" and "Fixed minimum" are activated.
