ok so in scenario 1, the long would be when the 55 crosses below then above the .15 level, while the 85 is above the .85 level and the 80 is above the 45 level. AM I RIGHT?

yes.....but keep yourself open to slight deviations of both scenarios which you will learn as you trade with this longer...watch price action in relation to these indicators and you will spot a deveiation in no time

yea i can see that, because on my charts on the 7th right around 18gmt or so, before that big rise in the E/U i actually have two entries long based on scenario one, but it looks like u are waiting for a nice clean cross, or a bar that is more than 3-5 pips in range. because with that first initial set up, i believe you would get in around 1.5645, although i think your posted chart shows entry around 1.5665. but again this one worked out great, some might not, so yes i see where you are coming from. also, do these two scenarios, both trade the same pairs/timeframes as stated in post one? thanks alot


i see it is the 4 majors, all on 5min, expect g/u on the 15, didnt see that b4!

also, could u explain a little how you came to formulate scenario one, because i understand number two, all three are in the same situation either all high or low, and we then go into our trade because that is a setup, but how does number one exactly work, with two of them in agreement, and the 55 not? just wondering

55 is the weakest indicator, then 80 and then 85.

If 55 deviates from the other two without a correlated movement from the other 2, it is too weak to continue on its own and so it has to come back and get it's more powerful buddies.

imight also add that this trade will usually happen as a continuation trade from one that you just t/p on as market makes a consolidation and then a continuation....exceopt maybe for the first trade of the night when this might be your first trade and might get you a lot of up and down with little movement as happened with my 3 pip profitaboe 1st trade last night

I find the usdchf and usdjpy are a little harder to trade and i wouldn't take a trade on gbpusd until london open and only use laguerre2A it seems will be enough.

just a though if you take a loss.....

my thought is of course that we will take losses, but that if you take one you might want to stand down until you would have had a profitable one (goes 30 pips or more) had you taken the trade because then you know that the oscillator is on with the price action.....

so on the g/u on 15min you only use the 55 and 85, u ignore the 80 correct?

although it seems that e/u might be enough anyway!

e/u is probably enough, but a trade per day from gbpusd may put you over the hump. I have made some nice trades with this pair as well, but usually no more than 2 in a row.

so do we trade both scenarios with g/u as well. cuz you say you ignore the reg lag, so u still trade both scenarios right!

this is an unconventional trade where the laguerre .55 started turning back up before the other 2 laguere's got down below there lowest levels. I took this trade when the laguerre .8 joined with the laguerre .55 to confirm the uptrend, but i would not have entered until the laguerre .85 crossed below it's lowest level

this is another unconventional trade where you would take the continuation trade if other trades did not trigger because laguerre .55 crossed the .45 level and joined it's bigger brothers to continue the fight to the north. Also confirmation from the laruerre .80 shich crossed below its upper level and then crossed below it again. this trade was not taken as in the above chart because laguerre .85 had not yet crossed above its upper level

I may have let this one go to R1

Here is the trade that i got since I was sleeping for the previous 2 trades.

If i had not had a training I would have gotten all three and added 9% to my account in one london sitting. I have a feeling more trades are coming, but I am off to work.

I love the system and the look. I am trying demo before using this on my real account and have a few questions.
On the 6 SMA do you set your shift on 0?
What role does the the .8 Laguerre play?
On your recent charts you have not shown the %williams on your chart.
I am not the brightest Crayola in the box, would it be too much trouble to describe your entry criteria and exit criteria as you are now trading this system in one reply? The earlier posts have been a little confusing for me to sort out.
Thanks for your work on this, and good luck in your transitioning out of the traditional work force. I have just began the process since February.

question damon. for your third and fourth charts posted it looks as if those were scenario 2. but for the first two, i cant figure out what scenario they are. number two posted looks like scen 1, but u played on a cross of the 45 level, which was never stated. could u please clarify the trades on the first two charts you posted. thanks alot, just want to get the full grasp of this method.

these are both unconventional trades, but still follow the same rules...enter the market when you know which direction the price is going to go and keep an open mind to slight variations to the trading style and rules.

I have made edit to that post #74 that kind of explain these entries....hope that it helps. It is more important i think to have a good system that also allows you the flexibility to feel the market rather than hardened fast rules that you only follow, although i do also follow the hardened fast rules when they appear.

hello.....originally i was looking at the laguerre as a filter to filter out whipsawing on the original system with the non-lag and the 6 sma. when the filtering was eliminated, i realized that the only thing i really needed was the laguerre's and so that is why the change over to the laguerre's
