Many traders look at multiple time frames. The question is on what time frame are you trading?

The experts say price moves in waves so this is a simple way of using that to your advantage without having to spend time labeling and counting waves.

I use a simple candle color indicator that I found on the net that shows the candle color on all of the time frames.

Here's an indicator I use to get a visual on how a pair is doing trendwise.
The pricing is pretty self explanatory.

TF = Timeframe
CC = Candle color (the color of the last candle)
BS = Buy/Sell
STR = Strength (combination CCI, RSI and Stochastic)
TR =Trend

Takes upa little more real estate than i'd like but it has good info.

I've uploaded the source filefor the indicator and also a screen snap.

Great indicator. I used it yesterday for a while. I changed the numbers in it so that they match my system and will try it more today. If it checks out properly I wont have to click back to the 1 H and 4H. I can just check the arrows and trade off of the 5M chart. What I really like is when I first start I can check my currencies quickly to see which ones are going in the same direction on the 1H 4H chart and trade from there. Thanks for the great indicator.

Yesterday was a very slow day. I had 6 trades won 2 lost 4 but three of the losers were trades that didn't go anywhere and I got tired of them so closed them out. I still made a 2 pip profit so I didn't lose money, just time. Hopefully the markets will move more today.

I changed the TR to the 7x7 MA cross and the BS to the 1x5 cross.

The one I posted 1x5 can be changed to your numbers and put on a 1H chart. If you change charts it will change to what ever chart your using unless you specify in the program you want it to work on the 1H info only.

So any suggestion from coding point of view?

What is the green and gold general trend indicator you are using?

Do you mind sharing pls?

Is there an indicator mt4 file for it, it looks very interesting and will make it possible to trade only with the general trend. I use stoch at the moment, but feels it is too volatile when using it with a 15Min and 5Min chart.

İf you use the Slope Direction Line indicator and you will have very similar results with mine.MA's are complete leading indicators.You can detect the current market situation with MA slopes,you can use them as support and resistance(5,10,20,50,100,200 on daily charts), you can set your entry exit places based on crosses or without crosses etc..I hope I have been helpful.

Can anyone post their Accelerator Oscillator, because I wanted to test this system but the one that I have with my broker doesn't look at all like the one that I see on the posted images,
