Now thinking about it the 5 needs to cross the 10 on the 5 min .... i find that helps too!
Bob, when you have a nice long set up on 1H, but 4H is still pointing down,bearish, do you enter using just 1H set up? If you have 1H set long ready, Daily bullish, but 4H bearish, do you enter on 1H in this case? And the very last question: If 1H and 4h bullish, but Daily is bearish according to CF, do you enter long on 1H? Thank you

Well the way i look at the sort of "problems" you are asking about is to say that there are ...

Trends Within Trends.

So really its up to you, i wont tell you how to trade, only that people who have posted in this thread have said they use the 4h along with the 1h, others also use fibs, some use other things.

I normally would look to a higher timeframe if i need more backup to take the trade, and if i am thinking this way in the 1st place then maybe i should NOT take the trade!

I don't have a copy of it, i did look at it. For the most part it is just posts from the thread so by reading the thread from start to end anyone will pick up the same info.

At the end of the PDF was some info about how Lever scalpes.... but that was not to do with Cornflower.

Not 100% sure of what your asking me ,
As for how to exit half a position during a trade you would need to talk to you broker (i know nothing at all about MIG) or have a look around FF, the rookie Q&A forum is quite good and im sure this subject would be there somewhere (if not ask the question and im sure somebody will be able to help out)

There is a .pdf which I compiled from posts by lever70 and others in this thread. I made it available to lever70 and she uploaded it here for everybody to download.

Thank you very much for help! I have read the text and find it very good and usefull. I dont understand why peaple do not communicate on this thread? The CF method is very good BStar, please tell me, how you take position from 1H chart? From 24 EMA? Do you use 5 min chart to determine from what Ema to enter? Do you use any indicators?
Sorry Bob - you are right, this question about exiting half a portion should belong somewhere else.

FYI - I did explore the MIG interface and nothing seemed to indicate how to do it. I will ask around. Thanks for your reponse.

When I first started looking at the Cornflower system, I put four charts up side-by-side (Hourly, 30M, 15M, and 5M.) Each with the four ema's. I then studied the charts and their relation to price action. Patterns start to stand out after a bit of study.

I have read each and every page of the 93 pages twice, so "I think" I get it.. Now, I have logistical questions to implement it....

1. What is the best way to arrange the screen to catch the CF setup? I have been switching back and forth to watch the 1-hr;30-min-15-min of these currencies GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY, EURUSD, USDCHF, AUDUSD, USDJPY, NZDUSD, and USDCAD. and it is getting very difficult I did add the MTF MA viewer, that shows multiple timeframes, but it gets choppy - see attached. Based on Clansman's response above - it seems like I can only monitor one currency at a time. I tried the profiles...is that the way to go????

2. Also, do you keep watching the chart continuously or is there a best known method to monitor for the good CF setup - at a certain interval or what???? I added the cornFlower EA for 12, but the alert is not true in most cases.

I took a trade on the AUD/JPY yesterday (i have attached a chart) The blue arrow is where i took a long off the 24 bounce and then got stopped out! such is life and it's all a part of trading!

I dont normally trade this pair so maybe i should not have taken the trade.... we all get it wrong sometimes.

The purple arrow is a trade off the 12 that turned out pretty hot today... the bounce under the arrow is (from my point of view) not valid as the 24 is yet to cross the 72 but price retests the 12 a few hours later and at that point all EMA's are lined up... I never take trades this early in the trend (i can see why others might) but if we get fresh bounce then i might look to trade it

Try the set up with additional indicators...such as RSi??

I took my signal at the red arrow. In this screen shot it doesnt look like a good setup. But at the time of trade it did. Also have set my SL above previous high. I have just started trading with the Cornflower, any feedback?

Sorry, but I can't help you there - I tried using CF, but didn't manage to be profitable with it. Still, I think that CF works (why shouldn't it?).

I think I didn't have enough discipline and patience at the time. Currently, I am preparing for a new start.

Hey Brent

The EMA's still look a little bit to bunched up to me... A good example of what a good spread looks like is the AUD right now (in my opinion)
I took this trade in NewYork session at about 10:50 am and was out by 11:30 for about 30 pips profits.
A couple of questions. Can I re-enter on a pullback being its after 11am and did I exit too quickly?

I just started trading this system yesterday. I was using the MTF system by Spudfyre. The CF was profitable for me right off the start. I was 4 for 4 yesterday. And I grabbed +45 pips on GBP/CHF around 3:00AM CST (Dallas time). Definitely need the patience for this system but it's truly mechanical. I like it. Thanks lever and everyone else that has contributed. Hope we can keep this thread alive.
Late afternoon eurjpy trade finally yielded me some pips. I'm currently +14 right now. I'm loving this system more and more. Can it get any easier??
