Now thinking about it the 5 needs to cross the 10 on the 5 min .... i find that helps too!

Well the way i look at the sort of "problems" you are asking about is to say that there are ...

So really its up to you, i wont tell you how to trade, only that people who have posted in this thread have said they use the 4h along with the 1h, others also use fibs, some use other things.
I normally would look to a higher timeframe if i need more backup to take the trade, and if i am thinking this way in the 1st place then maybe i should NOT take the trade!

As for how to exit half a position during a trade you would need to talk to you broker (i know nothing at all about MIG) or have a look around FF, the rookie Q&A forum is quite good and im sure this subject would be there somewhere (if not ask the question and im sure somebody will be able to help out)

Sorry Bob - you are right, this question about exiting half a portion should belong somewhere else.

When I first started looking at the Cornflower system, I put four charts up side-by-side (Hourly, 30M, 15M, and 5M.) Each with the four ema's. I then studied the charts and their relation to price action. Patterns start to stand out after a bit of study.

I have read each and every page of the 93 pages twice, so "I think" I get it.
. Now, I have logistical questions to implement it....1. What is the best way to arrange the screen to catch the CF setup? I have been switching back and forth to watch the 1-hr;30-min-15-min of these currencies GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY, EURUSD, USDCHF, AUDUSD, USDJPY, NZDUSD, and USDCAD. and it is getting very difficult I did add the MTF MA viewer, that shows multiple timeframes, but it gets choppy - see attached. Based on Clansman's response above - it seems like I can only monitor one currency at a time. I tried the profiles...is that the way to go????
2. Also, do you keep watching the chart continuously or is there a best known method to monitor for the good CF setup - at a certain interval or what???? I added the cornFlower EA for 12, but the alert is not true in most cases.

I took a trade on the AUD/JPY yesterday (i have attached a chart) The blue arrow is where i took a long off the 24 bounce and then got stopped out! such is life and it's all a part of trading!
I dont normally trade this pair so maybe i should not have taken the trade.... we all get it wrong sometimes.
The purple arrow is a trade off the 12 that turned out pretty hot today... the bounce under the arrow is (from my point of view) not valid as the 24 is yet to cross the 72 but price retests the 12 a few hours later and at that point all EMA's are lined up... I never take trades this early in the trend (i can see why others might) but if we get fresh bounce then i might look to trade it
