Hi...best time to place order after news released ? Need some information

I would place order after I actually read the release.

Some fake moves will sweap away many OCO orders.

The best time is when the opportunity is best

What I do, on the rare occasions I trade near a news release:
Firstly, I wait for the spread to get back to normal as I use a broker that can vary the spreads.
Second, I set an ATR (averave true rang) of 3 periods. I then look for this to get back to normal or close to then look for a trade.
This of course can varies widly to how your intend to trade and your goals.
Shown here is the recent Non Farm Payroll report and where I would have traded it (which I didn't because I am already exposed to the market as much as I want to be).
