as i trade off the daily charts, i take the weekly PA into concideration after the daily PA and trend direction, and then look for an entry using the 4hr or sometimes 1 hr PA, which is something i picked up off bundyraider.
can you tell me how much notice i should take of the monthly and weekly trend direction and the monthly PA in this case.

thanks again for all your help. i figure i owe bundy a few bundy's for what i learnt from him especially.

Initial stop is always above bar high of your entry, but how you play out the trade and move your stops, take partial or final profit, it's another story.

g/j trade.
We had daily beovb last week and everyone made few pips. What would happen to your account if you waited with additional entries at 50fib ret (as it is what you plan to do) and move your fib ratracement along the way....

4th also worked... does it always? off course not...

Hello Raczekfx,

Yes it has been working well this time.......It's likely a 5 five waves Elliot sequence : isn't it ?

Thanks

Happy trading,

It could be, I don't know.. I like it simple and easy and don't subscribe to voodoo wave methods.

My core is ppz or s/r if you will,... and thanks to James for opening my eyes.
If you demo your trades around support/resistance for few months the lightbulbs should suddenly turn on and you will never look at any other system ever again. No ema crossovers, no dibs, no blackjack thingy.. . Charts will start talking to you, period.
It's sooooo.. simple, and this is exactly the reason why people don't see it. It's too simple for any engineers and phd to understand it until they become like a children again. Once they do, it's never gonna be the same..
happy trading to all.

I4b = an inside 4 bar, where the current bar has a smaller range, then the previous 3 bars, and is contained within the previous bars high - low.

According to this definition, I don't think that the last bar on u/j is an I4B - it's just an IB. Is this correct? Just trying to get all of my PA terms straight.

Thanks,
Brian

Will a double Pin Bar, Inside Bar (off a PPZ) show super duper powers if it breaks to the upside? Should be fun to find out.

Hey Brian

It technically has a smaller range then the previous 3 bars. Not by much, but it does.

Hope that helps

Mike

I had to take a pre-break small long position at 105.82 just for the sheer potential of this move. S/l at the bottom of 6/30/08 PB.

Hello. A weeny question if I may:- regarding pin bars, must I wait for the second eye on the right? Or would it suffice to see the first eye and a nice protruding nose to say yes, it is a Pinocchio grinning!?

Thanks for the clarification!

Hello raczekfx,

Simplicity is the most difficult task. Life is simple, human unfortunatly not.

Personnaly, Finding PPZ at first is my main trading job. I mean that Support/Resistance zones WHERE set-up occurs are far more important than the set-up itself. Trading between two PPZ is very dangerous and not rewarding.

This is just my humble opinion.........

Thanks

Cheers

Raczekfx,

I know what you mean by 'jumping from system to another system'

It's like a dog chasing his tail.

Thanks

Happy trading to all,
