Hey, I'm a newbie, so don't laugh at this but, is this a true live account. If so, that's incredible. Keep it up. Also, if it is real, would you mind sharing your trading system or technique?

Thing is, even if they did share their method in detail, it's almost a given that most new traders would still blow up several accounts anyway, then give up for good. There are far too many variables that must come from personal experience. I don't believe there are any shortcuts in this business....

Yes, account statements like that are possible for each and every one of us, but it's not going to happen overnight.

If it's real i think it would be easier for him just to give us all a few grand here and there only fair after all, he's taking out losings


I aim to get to the Mil++++ myself by end of 2010, pretty tall order with $800 in the account and no extra money to add but I have nearly double it recently.

How much one makes is none of my concern.

So why should it be any of yours?

Will you be a better trader if someone tells you that he/she made a million? This is no better than one of the many "prove me that I can make money from Forex" threads.

Oh and btw, just to help you out (I am assuming you are new to trading, if not, then I apologise for my comments below, as you would already be aware of this);

it will be more motivating to know what makes a good trader, rather than how much a good trader makes. How much is all relative, but not the qualities. Proper mindset, knowing thyself, matching the trading method to your personality, and discipline are a prerequisite for earning that million dollars. Look at the market, the thing moves enough to help making anyone and everyone a million dollars. Why don't they, because they lack one or more of the above traits. And the most important one, hard work . Someone once told me "Forex is the hardest way to make Easy money". Didn't understand it then, but do now.

Why a million dollars?? There is no limit to the amount of money you can make with forex.

Hey dimitrius,

I am a member of Jacko's group and i have been keeping a record of all his trades. He started his group blog in October and had made a million dollars by March. He has made even more from March to now. He trades big numbers. If you want to talk with the biggest and best trader here, then talk to him.
We all made another 71 pips yesterday. We bought at 1.5500 and sold at 1.5571, using the very simple 50 pip TSL. We are now waiting to buy again.
Jacko's method is simple and clear without all the mumbojumbo garbage that other traders use to try make themselves sound smart

Kermut, I've been trading index futures for a number of years. I've recently, over the last few months moved into forex. Better liquidity and leverage is the reason.
Why a million dollars? Because that's what I'm aiming for as my first target. Once I've achieved that, then I'll ask "anyone made $10 million".

The fact is that any jackass can walk in here and say "I made a million dollars". How would you be able to know for sure? A scan of a bank statement? Oh yeah, I forget! Everything on the internet is true. Read my profile! It says I'm in North Korea. I'm actually Kim Jong-Il's personal butler.

I don't see how it would happen but if someone telling you he's made a million can give you some skills somehow and make you feel better, then all the power to you.

hey guys my answer is very simple, based on pure mathematical certainty

can you make a million dollars with a small account? yes.... you'll need to overleverage, which means blowing your winnings and possibly the whole account in a short period....


with a large account it is much easier, because the exact same trades will be considered "smaller leverage" as with an overleverage small account


the bottom line: you can make a mil risking 10K in an account, but you can lose it quick too... it is a game of luck, depending on your edge, frequency of trades, etc....

How about constructive criticism. What possible difference is it gonna make to your trading if someone else made money at it. You probably won't ask yourself this question- but I 'll tell you the answer anyway. Not a damn bit.
Your not gonna make it in this business if this is the kind of thing you are worried/ interested in. Why don't you look in the mirror and ask "Can I make a million?"
I'll leave now as like most newbies - you are only interested in opinions and thoughts that validates your own.
