So, what I want to know, with all the hot shot traders around here is, who of you have made a million dollars or more, and what amount did you start off with? Come on, give us some hope that it can be done and I don't have to go back to being a business owner.

And please, no philosophical lessons about how it's easier to make money in business or working for someone, etc. I'm here because I love trading and I want to make it a success. So I just want to know who has succeeded. And if you can tell us how long it took as well, great.

yeah, real funny. I'm talking about an average joe who never had a company he worked for set him up with a fund to run.
I would bet James16 and some of his group are people you need to speak to. They seem to really have a handle on this. They truly treat it as a buisiness and I would bet money some of them are beyond the 6 figure area. Steviet is about to go full time (congrats BTW) he has posted his growth since early 2006 and I believe he started out fairly small. According to his thread he is right around 130k right now.

Personally I excell at doing well for a little while then Blowing up my account like it's the Fourth of July LOL.

I would be very surprised if anyone who frequents these types of forums has made any serious money trading.
Not sure about James16 anymore (pretty busy I imagine) but Stevie seems to make a point of answering everyone.

i think if you really know what you are doing on forex there is a lot more to get than a millionen bucks , i know about someone sold an EA for about $ 4.000.000.00 to a south african bank

I think it´s more stressfull to sell a good system as trading it by your self hehehe

Ya I know we never know on these forums. But he did post his live account statement and he says he had done it before and we can assume he is still doing stunts like these. Also for last few months he rarely visits the forum and only posts some long term trades which are always spot on. And according to the fundamental law of physics, the money made by a trader is inversely proportional to the time he spends on forums.

I started with a billion. Now it's a million dollars and ... man, I try very hard to bring it down to zero ...
I know of one trader personally that had made over a million trading the forex. A handful of traders here know who he is too.
